Re: Houston Sportsman cancelled
It looks to me like division 4 ought to have a class racers association to put on a few races during the year to give people an alternative place to race instead of having to put up with what we went through at Houston. I know we try to run as many Ihra races as we can but it"s just not the same due to not having as many of your friends there racing with you. There is a number of associations in the midwest and northeast; why can't we have something like that down here in division 4. Just a thought.

Why don't you get some of your friends to go to an IHRA race with you? You can make some new friends also! Jim

http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...r=100#indextop Wow. Very sterile and blunt. Can one imagine if NASCAR cancelled a supporting Saturday show for any reason and never mentioned it in their media mouthpieces? |

After the NHRA gives back the sportsman money, was their weekend all that GOOD! Corky:eek:

Re: Houston Sportsman cancelled
Just a few years ago, you had to enter early so you wouldn't get slammed out.
Houston had 452 entries, Atlanta has 303 with only 16 Top Sportsman and 29 SG. When was the last time you saw only 29 SGers at a national. Quota was 60. Greg |

Re: Houston Sportsman cancelled
The Stock Performer Points will stay intact as Stock Class was complete. The new numbers should be posted today or tomorrow. But I didn't win anyway.
