Harold's Saloon is Steelers' Country! Cave Creek is a very nice area. I have some close friends who live there and we stop in the Saloon for a meal when we visit.

First, there is some really shakey people in those pictures. Professor Rayburn and the other curly headed Hemi guy who did such a good job for me at Indy and Bowling Green in the same area is worrisome at best. Second there ain't no trees out there for the "Autumn Leaf Tour 2013", so we will amend that to "Autumn Leaf Tour Evolve to Pretty Rock Western Swing 2013". And, I need another martini before I can think of the fourth.

I love that '67 Hemi GTX,, and I'm a Chevy guy! I hope it was a 4-speed instead of a Torqueflite.

107 stockers, 13 A/SA cars with only three super stocks in class and everyone has a carburetor..... Way Cool!

There is so many world champs entered at Vegas you run out of fingers and toes trying to count them all. My hats off to all the champs that entered after the quota was full.

It will be a great show watching the potential world champs placing themselves on the sheet for first round.

On a side note its good (bad for the rest of us) to see Peter Biondo in stock again.

:( Good morning from foggy Tacoma. I love the 57 chev in picture 2 from the Pavillion car show. The old school flames are a different twist but the right colors. I love reading about your journeys across this great nation. Larry and Patsy good luck on your efforts for the rest of the season. I hope you can get several pictures of the cars from the west coast. I just talked with Angela and Bill Bushmaker and Shawn Blair this last weekend at Pacific. Not to take away from anyone else, but hope to see many cars from this area go deep into eliminations. A few class wins wouldn't be bad either.
;) Like you said, this race should be exciting with all the heavy hitters that are there. Anyone can be beat on a given day, but you have to rise to the occasion for the big boys and girls. GOOD LUCK TO ALL and have great and safe race

Well it is another beautiful day here in Las Vegas! Stock just made their first pass. Temp was 63, sunny with a few clouds. 103 stockers made the run, with Scheitlin and a thunderbolt not getting down the track. Chaney also broke on the line. Super stock is running now, then super gas and stock again and super stock again. Then we start class!

Well we are ready for class next! We are 7th out of 14 A/SA!

In first round of class, our opponent Roger Bedford was a no-show.
Round 2 John Cooper broke a transmission against us.
Round 3 Paul Cannan beat us 10.24 to a 10.32!
It is now Tibor Kadar and Cannan in the finals of A/SA

In round 2 Doug Lambeck had a flat tire on the top end and it took them 20 minutes to get him off the track while we were waiting in the water. He didn't crash, but I didn't see how it looked.

Well it is another beautiful day here in Las Vegas! And even brighter because we won 1st round! Bobby Dearmond won the Perfectly Strange Award if he had the decal. $1000. $2000 if he had the product! They have called super stock up, so we are going up to watch. more later
