I wonder if Bill Flynn had a second car - this could eqplain the red & silver on your Dart Daryl. The Mary Ann Foss car is still MIA (I think I know what car it is but the people who could tell me have passed away. Yes, I have spoken to Mary Ann, her brother Pete Jr and son - no one has any idea what happened to it. I do not have any information on the Manhatten Speed Dart (other than it existed) - don't even know if it was a factory built car .

This would explain the early press release with that car, with the early VIN #s, & that the current restored Peddler car is one of the last cars in the first run. As posted before, & what I'VE been lead to believe is the factory backs boys got the early ones. Why would Flynn have such a late #ed car unless he had a second one? .
HMMMM, might be onto something there Mr.J. I kinda like that possibility. Nothing like pulling a rabbit out the hat eh? Definately worth a closer look.
Hey Paul C. Any input here?? Anyone else???

Welcome back Dave!!! Been awhile there buddy!! Like you, I gave that car some consideration also. Hey, how's your little project coming along? Shoot me a PM, would like to see some pictures on it's progress.
Another car that caught my attention at Fred's was the GoldSeeker green stick car he had. Haven't heard nothing bout that one since then. That car was a GOOD car!!! Reminded me of a car that broke something on a Sunday afternoon in the 80's, owner got pissed at it, took it apart, threw all the parts in the trunk & interior, closed the barn doors & forgot about it. I enquired bout that one too, but the price was way on the other side of too expensive for me

This is car is supposedly in Norway,,,,,,,,,,
Of course in the winter, with all the snow,,,,,,,,you cannot see the
'white' Dart.
That is why it is so hard to find,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,;)

Now if we have a Norwegian contact who can get us the VIN #'s,,,,,

Norway Drag Strip
Gardermoen Raceway
Just north of Oslo

Anyone going to Scandanavia,,,,,,,,,,,,

The caption under this photo stated;
That the Hemi Dart was presented to Bill Flynn in 1967,,,,,?????
Which was incorrect.
This photo is from December 1968,,,

1968 Photo
Bill Flynn sponsored by 'County Dodge'
'Poison Dart' lettered on the trunk deck panel,,,,,,
instead of 'Hell On Wheels' later lettering.

This paint job was on the car that was at the 1968 Springnationals (June 1968).
and 1968 Super Stock Magazine Nationals in July 1968.

My reasoning for this is that he was doing the clinics just like Landy was, and that he possibly had two cars. If you notice in the photo below that you posted earlier, Bill Flynn is holding a microphone, and probably doing one of his clinics at a dealership somewhere...So we need some more older pics of Bill Flynn's Yankee Peddler 68 L023 Hemi Dart(s) to look over closely.

The dealership photo of Flynns car has a dart swinger sign hanging from the ceiling advertising the new dart swinger so it must be late 68 or 69 as 69 was the first year for the swinger name.
