Who would you have build a Turbo 2004R ?

Who would you have build a Turbo 2004R that will work correctly,be reliable, and that is designed to harness 520+ ft. lbs. of torque and 540 H.P. in a street / strip 3200 lb. Chevy II Wagon ?

I'd like to know if it's possible to have a unit that operates without the TV cable drama.

I talked to my friends at TCI at the P.R.I. Show and they suggested stepping up to their new 6 speed automatic which is a 4L60E with a electronic box to make it work with a non-computer controlled engine, but at $5,000+ for just the trans, I just cannot validate that on unemployment.

I live in Central Florida on the Gulf Coast side, and would appreciate any suggestions or comments.

Thank You gentleman.
Glenn

No, you cannot make a 200 4R work without the TV cable if you want it to shift by itself.

That said, there's no need to have "TV cable drama". It is not hard at all to set up the correct geometry for the TV cable.

There are only about 3-4 people, myself included, that I'd suggest you take a 200 4R to. None of them are anywhere near Florida.

Thank you for the reply Alan,
Could you send me an email with some idea of what you can offer and the costs to build such a unit?

Dave,
I searched Turbo Actions website and they do not show that they service or sell the 2004R.

Dono, but I was just talking with Paul about them the other day for another car.....

They sell and service things they dont list Nice guy and "reliable" as in promised dates, costs, and know their stuff. That = reliable in my book.

Call Paul as suggested.A co-worker of mine uses a Turbo Action 200 in his stocker and it's been very reliable. We've used Turbo Action for 33 years, never had any problems with their stuff and it's always quality products and service.
