Ohh Yawnn, here we go again, another U/SA at the top of qualifying. And the FS guys think they have competition. Would love to see the Caddy, Olds, the Pick-up truck and now the Monte qualify 1-2-3 and 4 at Indy. NHRA will have to do some shuffling and make them their own eliminator.

Isn't this "anti racing"? Find something for nothing and rated at nothing to race nobody? Just to prove people have made mistakes on factoring. Sorry guys I am from the old school camp of beating someone with hard work, and driving skill instead of a rule book "slip"

Lyn, Its not about the money if NHRA would fix the problems. Money only gets involved when the rules allow any Wild parts. I have been campaigning for a return of a MOD style or spec class where working with the basic stuff to run is what counts instead of a new Turbo Mustang or Supercharged or new material bearings..
Mod was the format and NHRA missed when they chose it to delete. two or three wt breaks or spec combos to satisfy ford or Chrysler and chevy racers would do tons to level the field on Money issues.
