Need Indy tickets

Looking at coming up to Indy, for Friday and Saturday only, to help a couple of racers. I need a couple of tickets, or crew passes, and a place to park my truck. We usually either race, or don't go at all. Any ideas on the best way to do this?
Thanks

The guys you are helping can get you crew passes, and depending on what they have a car pass. If not the best way is to park on the West side directly across from gate 4 and walk across the street to enter. NHRA sends 4 $10 coupons for any race in the yearly membership packet. That will get you guys $40 off for the two days.

Anyone know what crew passes are going for?

If the normal events are $85/$90 I'd guess at least $100/$120 Alan

OUCH!!!!!!

Thanks, John. Probably heading up tomorrow. Especially if a friend needs help. Sucks to pay $220.00 for two people to be there only a bit less than two days.

Alan - If you just buy single day tickets for Thursday and Friday, it would be $21 Thursday and $42 Friday. (Minus $10 each day for your membership coupons).

Problem with those if you are helping out is you cannot even access the staging lanes at most events. (and at Indy you are kept so far from the starting line being at home is just as much assistance:-) You can sit in the 1000' club seats and see who lifts though!

NHRA needs to allow a 2 or 3 day crew pass at Indy for those who just wish to attend and crew the biggest Stock and Super Stock Class Eliminations they hold.

A question:
How many of you stay until Monday afternoon for Fuel finals if you don't qualify?

I've never been to Indy, but at other events I've never seen a difference in access between a crew pass and spectator pass, save for those with the Restricted Area sticker.
