Can anyone please tell me the HP of the 2018 COPO 427 NA engine?
NHRA rating is 470 HP.
I”be heard it is really over 1000 HP

It is rated at 481 HP in Stock Eliminator with an automatic.

Rated at 470 HP in Stock Eliminator with a manual and also rated at 470 HP in Super Stock with both Automatic and Manual.

I know, but that is NHRA rating..

I doubt any class racer with that engine is going to reveal the hp it actually makes.
The best someone could do is guesstimate what it is making with the use a h.p. calculation site, if they know the race weight and the e.t. and mph.

guesstimate would be over 800 based on the records and class weights using the calculator posted above

Lower 800's would be a realistic estimate. ….especially taking into account the efficiency of the chassis /converter setups in these cars.

It depends on who's dyno you run it on, but real HP is 765-ish @ 7300-ish RPM.

If you use Racing Calculator, the new 2019 Mustang needs to makes1500 hp. To run 7.72 @ 175 mph. # 3575. If i used It correct?
