I just looked for that this morning, must have missed it. Wonder why they can't just put the list of accepted buttons on their website like they do connecting rods?

I just don't get it. Why can't NHRA tell us which buttons are legal for Super Stock instead of waiting until the first of the year??? This is just CRAZY please just let us know.

I do not see the problem with posting all of the "currently acceptable" buttons that NHRA has OK'D ---It has to be better than having several thousand racers jamming the phone lines and all asking the same question---Is my button ok??? why not?? what button do I have to use???---Just post the latest buttons that are OK and add that in the future more buttons will be added to the list as they are approved--My 2 cents on it---Comp 387

NHRA realy has no clue when they make rules like this!
Taking the long adjustable buttons out of the cars wont stop anything. I know cars that have transbrake adjustability under the pan. All they will do is cause guys to find other ways to have to spend more money to find a slower r/t.

I just reread NHRA ruling.......... 3 inches in length from base of button to top of plunger..... is that three inches to the very end of the punger???? or to the back side of the thumb rest..... the thumb rest on the 5-0 is about a 1/4 - 3/8 of an inch thick.

does this also mean that the "5-0" button's plunger can be cut down (like a sawed-off shotgun) to meet the minimum length requirements???

would like clarification... time to start experimenting
