Re: Thunder Valley Sept 17th and 18th
Dean,
Usually Tom Meyer brings some up on Saturday. If he can't make it usually he'll send some with Bic. Rick |
Re: Thunder Valley Sept 17th and 18th
Rick,
Are you going to make it? Dean |
Re: Thunder Valley Sept 17th and 18th
Pretty sure I'm going to make it. I have to work Saturday so I'll be a little late.

S or S/S?

Re: Thunder Valley Sept 17th and 18th
Super stock. I plan on bringing the Nova to Oahe for the Friday test and tune before the open. If we can get it to run I'll run it in the bracket classes that weekend. For now I'll drag out the old worn out purple car.

Now that's funny........ |
Re: Thunder Valley Sept 17th and 18th
That's not funny Dean it's true. Dad hasn't finished the spare motor. So the engine and trans have around 250 runs on them. Just hoping it survives two more weekends then it can come out this winter and get freshened up. You can tell it's lost a little steam on it, but it's still the one I like and trust.

Re: Thunder Valley Sept 17th and 18th
I would like to be there but have valve train issues. The parts are in and the goal is to make the Koppien/Christensen Memorial race and National Open at Oahe the 24th/25th.
Good luck at TV everyone, go get 'em! #5457 Curt Rees |

Re: Thunder Valley Sept 17th and 18th
Thanks, Tom, for the offer. Dean and I should have mine running this week. I had the wrong valve springs, my error, they were a mess! I am lucky I did not shell the whole motor!

Re: Thunder Valley Sept 17th and 18th
It was a great show of cars and drivers. Good to see some new cars, as well.
Too bad the racing accident put a damper on the weekend. Just glad everyone is ok physically afterwards. "Coulda" been a lot worse. I hope to see all of you guys at Pierre this coming weekend, and you wont have to listen to me carrying on with a microphone in my hand...hopefully just a camera this week. TMc |
