You better be careful if cuzin Eddie shows up with that big block. I think he may have something to do with the earth quake we just had,and all he did was start it up in the garage and look what happen.

Mr. CBS ,,,, Please put me down as tenative ,,, work is getting in the way of my racing ,, but I'm attempting to move some meetings , commitments etc... to free up the day ,,, I should know by the middle of next week if I'm sucessful and can attend the test session .

It is Ironic that the day of the earthquake is the first time I fired this Little Big Block :) ,,, and Jason it
is an awsome sound ,,,, Now for some status ,,,,

I did get out Sunday at a local track ,,, grandaughter 's Prom was Saturday , and all though the wife said ,
I understand you need to test the car , so go ahead !@#$ ,,, us married guys know that go ahead doesn't always mean go ahead ,,,, Anyway Sunday I went to Dragway 42 and was able to 60 ft ,,, the car and then take it tothe 1/8 mile mark !!!!

All I can say is once you go big you'll never go back ,,,, after being on the stop for approx 3 seconds , that
little Big Block ,,, covered the 1/8 at 6.45 second @ 128 MPH !@#$%^ now who will be looking back , where is Chaser , Erk Man and all the rest ,, that have been making me race out of a rear view mirror ?

I didn' t loose my tan and turn white ,,, but I did need some toulet paper to clean up my driving suit :) ,,,
I think I'm gonig to like this new way of racing .

My next step is to get some seat time running 9.90 at BIG MPH ,,,, and I plan on visting Tom and the boys
next week for the Jegs Super Series at National trails ,,,,, so Nitro save me myfavorite spot ,,,,,

Interested in testing May 8th, I never rented the track before and wanted to know details, such as cost and what happens if it rains?

just don't do like CBS does.....rolls in unannounced on a Saturday....claims he just needs to make a few test runs....complains how he sucks and can't hit the tree....car is all over the place....can't drive....figures he'll enter the race to get another hit because he is so lost....then wins the race taking the money away from racers that really need it!

If that isn't bad enough, he gets up Sunday, says he doesn't feel like racing today, and goes home! I'm sure his version is similar, but this is how it really happened!

I don't know Eddie...I'm not sure you could convince me that there's any cooler sound than a high-winding small block going through the traps at 10,000+ rpm (not that you or I have with our small blocks, but you get my point).

Of course, I would like the sound of somebody reading me my time ticket and telling me that I just went 9.90 at 170+ mph! :D

I'm not sure which day I am coming unannounced....maybe Sunday.......its something about that track....

of course I'm coming just to test....but I will get in the race just to get a few more runs....

Yea , my plans were to come Saturday race/test , spend the night Race Sunday and come home ,,, with the race and the time trials ,,,I could get quite a few runs ,, figure out the ratios etc,,,, have some fun ,,, haress you :) ,,,, Now ,,, With the weather calling for rain Saturday ,, I may hold off and just come down Sunday morning ,,,I'm also attempting to convince Ed Apple , Bill Ford and a couple of others to come on down and play !!!

I always have a good time with you guys ,,, especially when you let me win a round ,,,, Keep us posted on the weather and track conditions ,, Remember that is one of the tracks where I hit the wall ,,, so I know where CBS is coming from ,,,,,,, but don't beleive he won't be attempting to win vs test .

What is up with this weather.................can't we get a good day for racing???????????????

So far RAIN every Saturday...........and during the week no measurable rain.............

Plan a track day for a Thursday and guess what................RAIN............what does the forecast for Satuday (no points day @ SMP) look like............PERFECT SUNNY DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Who did we upset???

Now I sort of feel better, thank you for letting me vent.

Moved work schedule etc,,,,,

Looks like I can make it Thursday ,, if there is still room for one more and if you will let me ,,,,, ??
I wiil be good entertainment value for the others !!

Got butch coming over tonight so we can chcek everything ,, Car was stiil drifiting right at Trails ,
We should be able to correct and I talked to John Kyle who is also planning on coming ,, So far me this will be a good oppertunity to sort car out ,,,,,, and hopefullt make a full pass ,,, I still might need the toilet paper :)

Being, about an hour amd 20 minutes from Norwalk ,,, It doesn't look good at all ,,, coupled with the price of fuel that others will have to endure to travel ,,,,,, I would say you made the right decision ,,,,,

I'll have to see how this weekend plays out so that I can at least get a couple of full passes before next weekend ,,,, ??

Hey Eddie, you need to travel down here and race at Magnolia. The spectators would think you are a traveling Pro Stock match racer!!! I bet you would be the fastest car on the grounds.
