Thursday night Stock SS Show.....May 15th
 

Guys I need 16 cars for the Third Thursday in May, the 15th. I'm getting a good crowd on Thursday night and here is what i would like to do. It is important that I get 16 cars as we will qualify off indexes for the crowd. This is not a big dog race.

ENTRY 50.00, With 16 cars its a 4 round race with no bye's.

Gates open at 5pm with open Time runs starting at 6pm. Qualifing at 6:55pm with rounds every 30 minutes. We will be done by 9pm and YOU ARE THE SHOW not the filler.

Purse is Guaranteed with 16 cars. Im paying double what I take in.

5 Gallons of 110 or 112 as final 8.


My combo for the 18th is going to have to be moved because of dates being moved, we have had 6 rainouts this year and this is getting hard to schedule. This race will not be a part of our points series. You guys have supported me in the past so this is a bonus race for those that can make it.
Please Email me so I know who is coming. And please if you arent sure please let me know. I want this to be a full field so if your not sure dont sign up as if you are. I realize stuff happens but work with me and I promise you see stuff like this happen more often.

Kevin Shipmon and Myself came up with this idea and I feel like its a good break where you wont spend all day at the track. Just imagine being called to the lanes with 100 Test and tune cars there and drive around them going straight to the water. Trust me that is what will happen.

Hurb great idea! I hope ya get 32 cars! :) you guys make me wish I lived in Div.9...I can see why the duck moved! I'll be leaving from work that night (midnight) for Norwalk. Maybe this race I can be "awake" first round! Good Luck to everyone & you guys are very lucky down their in N.C.

It looks like Chevy is greatly outnumbered! Don't let the Mopars run ya down! You will have Jimmy Flynt doing some chasing in a Chevy.

I just relooked at the list. I skipped over Alford and Carty. Maybe the Chevys aren't so outnumbered. Brandon Peterson is the sole Ford! Lambert has always said it takes a lot of hard work and money to race a Ford. Good luck to everyone and have fun!

I dunno i work at a chrysler dealership i see alotta Dodge tranny's that are bad...Scott could work for years doing chrysler trannys up here at the Ilderdome....espically the van trannys..horrible

I hate I can't make it...work won't allow it. Jim Reynolds said he may come but it would be last minute and he couldn't commit definitely.

I remember as a kid going to Wadesboro NC on Tuesday night. Once a month they would run a $300 1st-$200 2nd- $100 3rd race. They would run a seperate race for each place with everybody but the previous winner coming back. That was BIG MONEY back then (mid 70's). Every SS/Mod hitter on the east coast would show for those races.
Maybe just Maybe Drag Racing is re-inventing itself.
