We use Ultimate converters, Lenny is great to work with and is often at D-1 races. Check out his web site.

Re: Converter for stock eliminator
Stock eliminator,
You can't go wrong using PTC, Kenny Ford will work very close with you til its the way you want it...He 's at all the IHRA events and his stuff really works...It really depends on where part of the country you live in.? But do it right the first time, its always cheaper in the long run... I know for a fact many of the Div.. 2,4,5,6 ( 305 ) cars use his convertors and go very fast... LOL you can e-mail me if you have any questions ? daveribeiro@aol.com Dave, |
Re: Converter for stock eliminator
I Also have to give PTC the thumbs up...I have used their converters for the last 12 years and they are THE BEST,,,,,,Kenny Ford has the knowledge and especially the integrity to do it RIGHT every time..........

Re: Converter for stock eliminator
Stock Eliminator,
If you were looking to cut down your learning curve you just complicated everything by getting everyones opinion. You questions brought you two different shocks choices, six different converters, and 3 different cam companies. That makes 36 different combinations. I suggest you find someone you can talk to with the same combination you would like to have and start there or better yet buy someone else's car. You will have a hard time getting in the right direction with so many fingers pointing the way. |
Re: Converter for stock eliminator
I am sure David Lee gave you the right number, but I have been using 877-782-7223...Good Luck....
S/S 1890, Even though I agree with your statement, it shows racers are willing to help !!! I still think that says alot for our sport.. I notice you didn't give a name ? Thanks for your help. Dave |

Re: Converter for stock eliminator
Hey Rich,
I knew it was you, I meant a convertor guy ? I thought maybe you had someone new that you were going to tell us about..... Dave, |
Re: Converter for stock eliminator
Nobody new. All those companies are good. My suggestion is to pick one and work with them until you get your desires results.
