Guys you can watch the radar like I can and the rain is coming, the question is will it get here before 9pm or after. So because of fuel prices and people having to leave work we will postpone this race until Saturday as a part of our Automatic Pro Mod Show. Gates open at noon. Open time runs meaning test and tune til 4pm. Your first time run will be at 5pm. Second one will be about 45 minutes later. We will have you out by 930pm. The entry will be 50.00 car and driver. Purse will be same as before.

Kevin Shipmon and myself have to go to Dotties Cafe in Graham and discuss this over a porkchop lunch and we will then decide how to pair them. :D We will have a drivers meeting Saturday.

Thanks for letting us know. I was hoping that Saturday was an option, as I was planning to come and run the 7.0 index class anyway.

If any of y'all S/SS racers want to try it, the index classes are heads-up .400 Pro Tree (deep staging permitted). They have 5.30, 6.0, 7.0, 7.49, and 8.99 classes, plus a "Pro Tree Eliminator", which is a handicapped .400 tree, dial-in class. Something different!

My head hurts....I'm not seeing the info I'm looking for on that flyer about Saturdays event. Will those Index classes be run in with the Stock/Super Stock Race? What is the payout structure and entry fees for the 7.00 Index Class?

Also, am I correct in my thinking that this Sunday is when there will be two points races in one day? I notice the schedule mentioned Stock/Super Stock Race - is that still on??

We're trying to figure out what we want to do - next week is the WFC at Bristol so Scott needs to get some seat time in the Coronet before we go there - so Volare on Saturday, Coronet on Sunday?

Or you could take the Volare to Bristol since he has been doing well in it... Don't know how much of a killer piece that is and how often yall freshen it. Just an idea.

We're double entered at Bristol - the Coronet is on alcohol so it will fair better.

Well I've tried this here alcohol and it don't taste real good, smells likes a Pina Colada but it does NOT taste like one!! :D

i think im gonna try out the 7.49 index and try to get some stripe practice..are these races during to 1 to 4 TNT session?

It rained at the track at 615 and there was no way we could have raced. Now I know there are alot of questions so Ill try to get them all

Pro Mod Qualifing is at 2pm and 430pm with first round at 6pm.

Stock SS will run their first official time run at 5pm and second at 620 or so. You guys will either go right before or right after the Pro Mods. The index classes will run open time runs from 230 til 6. With first round being at 6:30. SInce we only have 3 classes and TNT all I can say is please get in the front of the line in one but we wont be on kill running you guys to death.

DW dont ask me if JR can test Saturday, although he will be the only Piperack there. I have no problem with him testing.

The cost for the index classes is 5 bucks car entry once you are in the gate. The car entry for Stock SS is 35. once you pay the 15 to get in.

I hope this answers everything, we are doing a TNT tomorrow night from 6 to 9pm. Any more questions?

Thanks for the info - I realize this was an add on, what I was referring to not being on the flyer is the purse structure and entry fee for the index class racing, or the times for that matter.....I'm referring to the flyer under this title on your site: "PRO MOD SATURDAY - Triad Thunder Series - May 17th"

We'll probably stick with just the S/SS race then, it's going to be a quick program it sounds like (which we prefer) and running two classes would be a bit of overkill...not to mention having to go switch back and forth between five tenths and pro tree.

Yup! The original Piedmont schedule says S/SS Series on Sunday. Running us both days, or just 'moving' Sunday's to Saturday, so to speak?

No Mike we are doing 2 full bracket races in one day on Sunday, so we decided to move the Sunday race because of this and not having time for everything. I knew the Stk SS guys would understand as we have some big things planned for later in year. Especailly Nov. 1st end of year date. Anyway hope to see everyone Saturday.
