Gale Pinkston
 

I know he wouldn't want the attention,but we need to keep him in our prayers. He has thyroid cancer and is going to have surgery in a couple weeks. If you know Gale he has a matter of fact attitude and usually looks at the bright side. Talked to him yesterday and he is going to fight it like he did prostate cancer a few years ago. Lost too many friends lately to cancer.

I talked with Gale today, the Doctor found a small Lump on his Thyroid and after taking a sample it turned out to be Malignate so they are going to remove the whole Thyroid which should take care of the Cancer cell! He plans on waiting a couple of weeks so he can attend the Clay City Race and then having the precedure done the next week. He seems in good spirit but i am sure it is on his mind!

Gale,
