Scott, I have a set of low run big block 290 small plug heads set up for stock eliminator by Wayne Calvert. Heads are complete minus springs and retainers, $1500. Post if interested and I will call you.

I have a set of 290 bbc heads and they look like they have an "h" 26 (or "h" 28 can't tell) - no a, b, or d on them.
Am i looking in the wrong place?

They are bare castings (not touched but magged).

To Mark Lewis, A while ago, you had a set of 3964290 heads (D-14-70 & D-15-70).... do you still have them? If so, I am interested.

I have a pair of these heads 1969-1970 year BBC 396-454 CID CLOSED Chamber 109 cc Oval Port dates of A 14 70 . Totally unmolested with original valves 2.06 X 1.72 and about 20,000 miles on them. I have had them for years. They are clean and would make someone else on the Stock or restoration side a nice piece.

I am asking $400.00 for the pair and you pay actual shipping charges to your door.

i have a set of 290 heads came off a runnig motor bone stock dont know date code in good shape also have a brand new in the box service replacement head casting # 241 for big block it is for a 402
