How many people are going to drive to Columbus from FL? I figure there will be enough people in the area to make this a decent race.

our first race we had 28 cars in lakeland,fl.2nd. race we had 28 in reyolds,ga.only 6 came from fl. put the two states togather .I drove 7hr. to ga. JAY

Sorry guys its been a tough day. Being 2 hr from columbus I was naturally thinking of Super chevy INDY. Sounds like TOP/STK Gainesville would be a GREAT deal.It would give more southern cars a chance to try this class for next year.... Chris if I can be of any help contact me Thanks Dick

Hey guys! I got the approval from Roger Gustin @ Super Chevy for the S/SS race in Gainesville. I have talked to Jim @ The S/SS Assoc. and he is volunteering to come up and run the deal for me. THANKS JIM!!

The entry fee is going to be $60...this is the same as Super Chevy's entry fee. It will follow ALL S/SS Assoc. rules. The only thing is it is only open to ANY GM product....sorry Mopar and Ford guys.....it will also be a NON points race for the Association.

There will be 2 time runs on Saturday to be run with the Pro Show..More spectators.....The race will be run on Sunday with the Pros. I hope alot of you can make it. We will be bringing 2 Stockers, I think Woodro will come, and had a few others interested. I really hope we can get a good number of cars so we can do it again in the future.

There is also a T-N-T on Friday, usually run by the track, if anyone needs to do a little work on their cars.

Here's your chance to show your stuff class racers, Being part of the main attraction will put you back up to the status everyone enjoyed when stock and superstock was king. Let's all get together and support this shootout . eveything will be ran under southern stock/superstock rules so we dont leave any combination out that is a legal nhra/ihra combo. please email me if you are planning to attend so I can give Chris an estimated car count and plan our race staff we will need to insure a safe and fun race. - fastcars52@netzero.com

The race in gville will be a race put on by chris for gm cars only. this is not a southern stock/superstock race, i hope this clears up any confusion . some of our members felt they were being left out and that is NOT the case. the regular association races will be posted as we get the schedule. I will be up there working for Chris , not as the association. All gm vehicles are welcome to participate as long as they are a legal combination. sorry for any confusion prior posts have created.
