Indy stock eliminator "bump" prediction contest

Official end date to post a prediction is August 25.While there currently are no prizes, maybe some sponsors will get on board... "WHAT WILL BE THE OFFICIAL BUMP SPOT OF THE 128 CAR FIELD AT INDY IN STOCK ELIMINATOR?

The prediction needs to be made to the thousandth.(If you predict a number that is quicker than the bump, you "breakout" and LOSE!

Example.......-.985 UNDER (Actual bump - .965,this prediction loses.)

The tie breaker is to predict how many cars of the 128 car field will be Chevrolet Powered, without going over.
Example.......78 Chevrolet Powered Vehicles.(Actual 73,then this TIEBREAKER prediction loses)

Lets start to see some predictions. The last day to post is August 25,2008.

Re: Indy stock eliminator "bump" prediction contest

.897 will be last one in. ALL "paper cars" will be in the show. Does a LT1 in a Pontiac count as a Chevy and does a LS1 in a Pontiac count as a Chevy?

Jack Matyas 08-07-2008 09:49 AM

Re: Indy stock eliminator "bump" prediction contest

-.882 will be this years bump...........Tom Kreeber I/SA from the John Shaul camp is your #1 guy...as for brand numbers I'm not so sure the GM cars are going to rank as high as some already predicted .

Larry -- Your question abour engines-- its the same as Chrysler cars -- they all count as GM .

Is the bump spot and number of Chevys in the field for this contest figured before or after teardown? Tech may make a difference on the final outcome.

Travis

Re: Indy stock eliminator "bump" prediction contest

1.03 under. I warned you all that this fastest 128 thing was a setup by NHRA.

Who cares how many Chevys. Watch out for Shaw. I see Lacy is registered, if he lets it loose he will be right there with Shaw. I know this firsthand and up close. Better look out for a FWD car also.

Who cares about Chevys. Probably tech does, have fun boys.

Chevys!!!!! Go Honda.

Ron Ortiz
U/SA the imports are coming.

Naw...there are pontiacs, and then there are PONTIACS! ;) By that logic, then you gotta count AMC's as Chryslers.:)
