Get Well Soon Dave Layer
 

Just got off of the phone with Dave a bit ago, he is out of the hospital now. He said he did have a mild heart attack but is up and around, heading for airport (still was in Vegas), so thats good.
Dave is a great guy and master cyl head man (Heads Up Cyl Heads) and I wish him a speedy recovery from this setback.

Dee, now you know Dave isn’t allowed any partying for a month now. But sounds like he will be able to at annual Louisville party.

Dave, i can relate very well to Heart problems, so get plenty of rest and take care of yourself. The Heads will be waiting on you when you get back to them, so for now rest and and take work a little easier, there is only one Heart and plenty of Heads! Take care my friend!

Dave, hope you feel better and glad you caught it before it was major. I had a stint 3 years ago and it took me a few days for my leg to heal so be careful . I wish you and Dee dee the best, so sit back and relax enjoy life to the fullest. You friend Irvin

Tried to post unsuccesfully several times on Hotel computers in Ca. Got home late last night (11/17/08) from our 3 week adventure to a friendly bed and a friendly computer.

Glad to report I am feeling great, better than I have for a while. Had a heart cath that resulted in one stint installed to open a 99% blocked artery. Everything went great no problems and no permanent damage to my heart.

Got to feeling so good in a few days after the surgery we decided to stay thru Pomona as originally planned. Lee Zane gratiously agreed to drive our car at the Finals and did a great job. Lost in the second round by .002 with a great light and a really good job on the big end. As they say stuff happens sometimes.

Having the car back on the track made me feel much better also. Thanks again Lee.

Thanks to all of you for the posts, emails and calls. They were greatly appreciated especially being in a scary situation so far from home.
