Has any one family had three different family members win a NHRA national event in the same year?

Byron Worner is in the last 5 cars in SS at Pomona and if he wins..... he would join his father (Tim), and his brother (Bryan) as NHRA national event winners this year.

I'm thinking maybe the Emmons family may have accomplished this.... but I can't remember anyone else getting close to it.

Well Tom we have checked with the Emmons family and they have never had 3 family members in the same year win NHRA national events. So maybe we have made a little history here. If anyone can think of another family that might have 3 different members of the family win in 1 year let us know.

Well from what we were told Sam has 1 win @Englishtown and that year Sal did not win any National events just Peter.

A BIG Congrats to Byron and the rest of the Worner clan. Byron it must be that superfast Zuma I sold you a few years back? LOL when I come out of retirement, I'll probably need her back. This incredible feit could not have happened to a nicer, more dedicated family! I remember our first meeting/pick up on the way to Gainesville (many Moons ago!). I think Tina was only my girlfriend? I also remember our choc. lab walking into the supermarket on his own? roaming the end of the track during racing? and something called a "dry town" in Darlington? I believe we are all still honarary members at that pool club???


Savor this accomplishment; as it is a monumental one!

Dean, the superfast zuma didn't make the trip. I went with Michael Iacono. I love that thing though. It'll cost you double if you want it back.
Funny you mention those early days I can remember them like they were yesterday.
