Castrol contingency

Anyone with Castrol decals may want to break out the hair dryer to remove them.According to Comp+
site Castrol is only supporting JFR Racing in 2009.No contingency program for motorsports, but world class soccer gets some $$$$$.Oh boy what a world.

i have a feeling the 2009 contingency list is going to be mighty short, especially on the class and divisional level

Time for everybody to stop buying any castrol products.

What oil should we buy?
Most of the oil companies have kicked the sportsman to the curb now.
I had just bought an oil change for the truck with Castrol when I read the post on NHRA about the cutoff.
A day later and it would have had other oil in it and it will for the next oil change.

Now we have Milan Lucic bringing back "old time hockey".....Go Bruins!

Hopefully Castrols move won't become the norm. Now it's more important than ever to support those that support us.

Hey Ed, long story short I made it down from 70 contestants to the final 10 who got to shoot. Three shooters ahead of me got it in, I hit the friggin post!

And the stupidly ironic part is during warm-ups for my Sunday morning league game I took the same shot with a goalie in the net.....that one hit the post and went in!

"Guy LaFleur, that's a hockey name. That's gotta be French for "wolf" or something".

Maybe you can get some help from Rosival.La Fleur is flower in french.Want a real hockey name?
Anybody remember Pierre Pilote? Not sure ,Bruins or Chicago Blackhawks.Started going to games at the old Garden (50th St) 6 team league,no backup goalie just a house goalie.Anyone know who the house goalie was at the old Garden?Only one penalty box too.Better hockey than todays ice capade players.
Kinda like old S/SS then and now.

Ed

That was a line from some beer commercial from the 90's staring the MacKenzie Brothers.

And Roszival help me? I think you're a bit mistaken; Rozy is used to being useless at the point. I was shooting from further out. Maybe if Uncle Daddy wasn't wounded he could have given me some pointers for shooting from behind the opposite goal line. I think he lives in that neighborhood too.

Ed,

Pierre Plante played for the Hawks for a while. You might've been thinking of Jacques Plante who played for the B's for one year after a great career with Montreal, Toronto and the Rangers.

Doug;
Pierre Pilote played for the Blackhawks in the 50s into the late 60s I think. He was a defenseman, his line partner was Elmer "Moose" Vasco.Boy I'm feeling old now.BTW the house goalie for the Garden was
Joe Schaeffer.5' tall 5' wide.Gump Worsley started his career as house goalie,as did Eddie Giacomin. They actually were called emergency goalies.

Doug or Billy P (since you guys seem to be the resident B's fans)....how many of those obnoxious #$^%&* Canadians fans raid your arena when their team comes to town? My dad said they should build a fence at the border to keep them out, but I disagree. The only thing that keeps them a peg above Islanders fans is that they bring smoking hot girls with them.

Valvoline!!

With all the decals I'm pulling off......I may have to get my car painted! Anyone know Bucky's number???

Mike, there are always a big group of those Canadian fans attending. Let them, it makes for some added entertainment during the games.

Bryan, it seems like there will be a lot more decal free cars out there. Hopefully the list will see more additions before the season starts.

From what I saw in the last dragster mag of '08, we have a choice between Valvoline (national events only), and Red Line (national & divisional). I'm a Valvoline man when it comes to my truck (10W30 Durablend is great oil blended for trucks with towing needs...thus the only oil in my Colorado since it had 15K on it), and now it has 76K), but thanks to Castrol, I may be putting their full syn in my Z24 as well---if the lure of Red Line's divisional postings doesn't sway me their way???

I'll be at the garden on Teusday for the B's vs Habs game. I dont think the montreal fans will boo the national anthem on the USA like they do at the Bell Centre.

Brad Penn oil (old green Kendall) seems to work and protect well. They also have a breakin oil for all the flat tappet racers. It still has the proper level of additives that are required for race engines. Now, if it would only warm up. Dyno

Yes, Valvoline is one of the best ,and the still support the racers,BUT, YOU MUST BUY YOUR OIL FROM THE VENDOR REP ON THE MIDWAY AT A NATIONAL EVENT TO GET PAID !!!!!! .....and yes, I learned this from personal experiance. ........Did not get paid from Valvoline's vender rep for this reason. ......We buy large quantities of Valvoline product from NAPA for the auto dealership I work for, so I always get a couple of cases at a time from them. ......At their request, I fowarded copies of invoices to the rep, but as of today I still haven't been paid......Tom
