How lucky I am to be able to call Robert and Clay my friends. I will miss "Mr. Bullard" stopping by my pit on his scooter and just bench racing. He truely loved being at the track and especially when Clay was with him. God Bless the Bullard family during this difficult time, our prayers are with you.

I am sorry to hear this Clay .He will be missed and we will never forget the great times we had racing and learning from your Dad Robert, (Mr Bullard) or as Flash at Rico Dragstrip use to say BULLARD!!!

Hey Everyone, thanks for the many calls, cards and visits. I am overwhelmed at the how quickly the situation developed. With the strength of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we will manage. Thank you all for your support. The arrangements are as follows:

Visitation will be at Western Prong Baptist Church 167 Peacock Road Whiteville NC 28472 on Wednesday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm and the funeral will be at 11:00 am on Thursday morning at the church as well with burial in the church cemetary.

In lieu of flowers monetary donations can be made to Western Prong Baptist Church Building fund. The address again is 167 Peacock Road Whiteville, NC 28472.

Clay, So sorry for your loss, seems like just before Thanksgiving I was talking with Robert over the phone. As usual laughing and joking around about his health and always racing. I will miss him as many others will as well. May this race be his greatest victory of them all....

An incredible man, charming, friendly, helpful...great hugger....We only knew him a short while, but to know him was to love him right away...He was a friend, the kind of person everyone was happy to be around.
We will miss you Mr. Bullard...our deepest sympathy goes out to you Clay and your family...

It is still hard for me to believe that we won't be seeing his smiling face again at the races.

Robert was a good friend and a very tough racer. I knew him for over 30 years and he was the same way everytime that you saw him. He was a good guy and will be missed. His family is in our prayers.

I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of sympathy and love that has been shown to our family over the last week. We are truly grateful for the calls, visits, flowers and the donations to the church building fund. God has sustained us in so many ways. Daddy will be missed not only as a father and racing buddy but as my best friend.
