Round wins
 

Will Eddies additional power equal more round wins this season.....He's the perfect example of someone that was slow that is now going fast....He had a season to warm up with the new found power.....will it be worth it....

Lets hear it....

will he finish better than 7th
will he win a race (if he wins a race we are going to have to check if thats him inside the car)
will he hit 170 @ 9.90

or was the big expensive motor all for naught

I'm thinking its more of a control problem ( HP + Throttle stop + car set up = Trouble ) plus rookie at high mph.

All those questions you asked ,,,, I'm asking myself,,,, But I will say This " I will have fun and I will not be slow" and I WILL Buy THE BEER if I even get to a final !!!!

Now I need to get home and move more Snow ,,, In northern Ohio we are running out of places to put the white stuff ,,,,,,,, Miss all of you guys and can't wait to go racing at 170 !!!!!!!!

I would think that water seeks its own level, having witnessed the gentlemans past sucess, I would think he will NOT have a BIG MOTOR sophmore jix. Top Ten Finish expected.

I think Eddie's motor paid for itself when we had a time run together and he was right next to me...

All I can say is I'm humbled to say the least !
There are some very good racers and hitters ( couldn't let that one pass ) on this board and in the Divisions I particpate in ,,,,,For you guys to say that I'm expected to finish in the Top 5 is very humbling for me !!

I have wanted a double or single digit number so bad and so long , that 39 would have been fine and to
know that my competitors think I have what it takes to finish in the top 5 is very humbling and encouraging,
not to mention the pressure you folkks are putting on me for 2009 !@@%$%^

I'll do my best to live up to your expectations ,,, but a top 5 in any division is going to be tough !!

Yea ,, Rock that Motor was priceless on 3 ocassions
1. When I let go of the button for the 1st time , went on the stop , came off and was next to Mr. CBS himself ,,, Priceless !
2. When my win light came on in the race at Norwalk with Tim who runs 9.90 @ 172 and we were side by side all the way down the track.
3. And when I drew Iggie at Columbus 1st round and we both ran 167 but my win light came on - Priceless !!

Thanks for the good words , encouragement and PRESSURE !!!

Now if only I could race and beat that White Corvette who whiped me 4 times with a 9.9something @225MPH

BB ,,, yea I'll be at the swap meet with a lot of Small Block Chevy stuff for sell ,,, There are no plans for me
ever going back to running slow !!! Looking forward to seeing you , Penney and all the folks in Northern Ohio ,,, I usally attend the swap meet out of ,, nothing to do in Ohio around Racing in Febuary ,,,,, but made the deceision to go and attempt to sell while socializing !!!
