Who's going to the ROCK for the IHRA div 9 race . I will be there early Friday morning. Finally get to play instead of work .

Hello...

I plan on heading down Friday afternoon and being there first thing Saturday morning. Getting tired of all the snow up here in PA...

A couple questions for the regulars down there...

It's been 19 years since I've been to the Rock. What's the best way to get here from PA? I can come down I-95, I-85, or Rt-220. What's the best route to take?

Any place down there where I can get Sunoco race fuel? The track web site shows that they have VP.

95 south to fayetteville exit then to reaford rd to southern pines to hwy 1 south to track. Don't know about fuel. Maybe someone on here can help with that and be more specific with exit #'s and such.. See ya there . I will be driving the 66 nova 4-door with moser engineering on the side ,.have a safe trip/

As Danny said, any route off I-95 depending on time of day. Mapquest from Fayetteville.

Take i-95 south to Fayetteville. At Fayetteville take hwy 301 /bus 95 exit. Turn right on Owen drive. Exit right onto Raeford rd/hwy 401s. Go to Raeford take 211 to Aberdeen then Hwy 1 south to the track. This is probably the easiest way. You could take 95 to 64 to 1 but may hit traffic in Raleigh.

I'll be there Friday with the CCRA Membership cards, and I have several cars to letter, but unfortunately won't be racing. Converter went wonky this weekend. :( (I appreciate all the converter loan offers I've had, but I'd rather have to do this swap just once, and I have a new converter in the works.)

Nope , all i got was a lot of green paper that won't stick on car . ,but they seemed to like it at the gas station !.( JOE COOL RACING ) "one race deal" lol !
