Prayers for Bob Hesser
 

I just found out Bob Hesser D3 Photographer is not doing well.
All it said was started feeling bad and it keep getting worse.

"For all that do not know, Bob Hesser is in Indianapolis hospital and is in hour by hour critical care. The family is at the hospital 24 hours a day. He has a full body infection that has shut everything down."

Please keep Bob in your prayers

As you guys probably know, I take a lot of pics at the races. Bob has become a friend and mentor over the last 2 years. He's a great guy, always willing to share the tricks of the trade. Standing on the starting line for hours on end is really hard work and Bob's the best. You may not know it, but he goes out of his way not to distract drivers when shooting an event, he is a true professional whose pictures speak for themself. If anyone knows what hospital he is in in Indy I would greatly appreciate knowing. Deb & I will definitely keep Bob in our prayers.

I just spoke with Jay Hullinger, not really anything to report at this time...Bob's condition is still critical. Jay said he would call me with any change in Bob's condition so that we can all stay updated. Keep the prayers going.

Bob's room is on the 6th floor of the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Jay didn't have the room number.

I just received word that Bob passed away this morning.
Jay will be posting more info on the Div 3 Website.

This is a sad day to say the least. :(

Bob Hesser was a first class act and a joy to work with. Bob always had a great sense of humor, seemed to be in a permanent good mood, and alway had something nice to say.

Bob took great pride in "getting the shot" for all the racers. He always made sure he was positioned to take the perfect picture. I have many pictures at my house that Bob took.

NHRA Division 3 has been weakened as a result of his passing.

Bob was such a great guy, and a great photographer... I never once saw him without a smile on his face, and never passed him without receiving a wave... He'll be greatly missed.

Bob always had a smile and a kind word. He was the best at what he did. He had perfect timing to get the perfect shot memorializing the "moments" of our lifes. That is a gift he left to all of us. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May God comfort you in the days to come.

Services for Bob will be handled by Walker Funeral Home, Winchester IN. They said they should have details by late this afternoon. Possibly Fri-Sat.

The Divisional meets and the Northern Sportsnationals just won't be the same without the great photo eye of a great person both at and away from the track.
