Prayers for Bob Hesser
 

I just found out Bob Hesser D3 Photographer is not doing well.
All it said was started feeling bad and it keep getting worse.

"For all that do not know, Bob Hesser is in Indianapolis hospital and is in hour by hour critical care. The family is at the hospital 24 hours a day. He has a full body infection that has shut everything down."

Please keep Bob in your prayers

I spoke with a member of his family this morning and I regret to inform all of Bob's many friends that he passed away last nite.
Any one that knew Bob will miss him dearly, I know I have lost a very good friend, a person that always had a smile on his face, a man who put his family above all else and was a great human being. I consider myself lucky to have had him as a friend.
I know the whole racing community mourns his loss......
News like this is never easy to deal with, but my thoughts are with his family.
You will be missed Bob, rest in peace my friend.

All I can say is wow,
Dave Kommel stopped me @ Vegas to tell me that Bob was in the hospital and now I hear he's passed?!

My thoughts and prayers to the family. The racing family has tragicaly lost another really great guy.

The race at Indy in a couple of weeks won't be the same without seeing Bob on the starting line shooting photos. My condolences to the Hesser family.

How does one put into words the empty feeling you get when you learn that someone as nice as Bob has been taken from our midst? Just saw him at the Gators and as always he took time to stop and say hi. We chatted for a couple minutes then he was headed off again in search of the perfect drag racing photo that he always seemed to capture. I will miss you my friend. Especially that warm smile you always had for your fellow man. God speed.

Bob Hesser was a first class act and a pleasure to work with. Bob always had a great sense of humor, seemed to always be in a permanent good mood, and always had something nice to say.

Bob took great pride in "getting the shot" for all the racers. He always made sure that he was positioned to take the perfect picture. I have many pictures in my house that Bob took.

NHRA Division 3 has been weakened as a result of his passing.

A person that could never be replaced, that will live on forever in our hearts and minds, is truly a legend. Bob is that, at the very least.(Don't be surprised if you look over this season at the guard rail and swear you saw him standing there!)
Maybe....., Jay will consider the best appearing car at all Div. 3 races: receive the "Bob Hesser" best appearing car award. - Man we're gonna miss him - prayers for his family - God Speed my friend. JB.
