Reading is Fundamental

You know I always thought this message board was pretty sane, it has it's moments but for the most part a good place to racing objectively; not like another site I am a member of. Well that changed today when a few racers decided they needed to know who I am and question my racing pedigree because I wrote something they didn't understand. Well I want to see if these few real men are that real and will apologize for jumping to conclusions. It is not my intent to get on here and judge folks, I want to promote class racing but so many of us look down upon one another because of what sanctioning body we choose to run it's ridicoulous. It's like racism, you are acred of what you don't know about. Find aout about something before you go shooting your mouth and looking crazy.

Ok enough of that, back to racing!

What's wrong with knowing who you're talking to.Do you have anything to hide?(past alimony payments, warrants, green card violation, parking or moving violations, etc). You're one of the Ford backers who sees nothing wrong with NHRAs bogus HP factor for the new CJs.Would I be meddling too much if I inquired if you either run a ford or are just a ford lover?

We'll Im not 6'7" or 320 but not a small guy either and I'm nit looking for a fight, I just want guys to be clear when they read things and if they have an issue just pm the guy or gal to get the true meaning of the persons post before you or anyone including me flames them. I have stuck my foot in my mouth before on here and was man enough to tell the person it concerned I was sorry, that's all I was getting. You don't have to bash a guys head to prove you're a man, just admit when you're wrong and move on. Thanks.

Ed,

I didn't say it was thing wrong with knowing who you talk to, if you look at the Bertozzi thread you will see that I told DJ what my name was, it's no secret. And to answer your question yes I am I Ford man and yes I have a car and it's an legal SS/IA car that belonged to Joe Hartley and was driven by Mike Saye. If you check the photo and video section you will see several photos and video clips of it on here.

To get back to racing you created a thread dealing with your personal feelings about what someone said to you? Things get taken the wrong way all the time on the internet. It's just the nature of the beast. Instead of just moving on, you go and make another thread a day after the issue you talked about happened. If you only cared about moving on, you wouldn't be creating a thread.

The person that made the comment was my brother. It's obvious to me, he did read it wrong. The reason why neither of us has posted since then is we have been slaving on one of our cars to get it ready for rockingham and I started another business on monday. It has been a crazy week.

Hell if I know haha. Nothing like changing 300 things on a car before a race. We're going to test it and see if it goes straight tomorrow. As long as it will take me to go down the 1/4, I can bring tools with me and work on it while I go down the track.

Nothing to hide here, everyone gets a little bent every now and then, I said my peace and realized I should have just explained what I meant and left it that. I guess I needed a stress reliver as I haven't been in my car since November 2008 and tonight was the first time. I am still perplexed as to why it want move down low, this will occupy enough of my time to keep from worrying about the internet. Good luck to everyone at the Rock!

A couple years ago at a race somewhere, Carolina maybe? Anyways, everyone was at the Tech Trailer checking out the qualifying sheet. It a bright sunny day and all of the sudden things go dark, like a big cloud had come over. Turns out it was just Brandon walking up behind everyone to see the qualifying sheet too :D True story.

To his benefit though he doesn't look like he weighs 320, he's just REALLY tall.

Smitty, would you please keep that car of yours away from me. It was real fast when Joe had it and ran the classes I run. I can't keep up with the 318's let alone your Ford. Also I read your Bertozzi post the way you intended. Have a nice day.
