Woodro Josey Heart Problem

Just to let you guys know, i have just returned home from a visit to the Heart Center, and i had 2 more stents installed for a total of 10 now. I had a lot of problems while in the hospital, in fact i almost didn't make it, while removing the sheath from my Groin, my blood pressure dropped low enough that i almost passed out, 64 over 58,,,but thank God i had some good nurses. I wont go in to anymore details here but if your interested in hearing more, send me an e-mail woodyrace@yahoo.com

Woodro,

I wish you well too, and hope that you continue to rapidly get back to normal, so you can go on with your living/racing/building those great fuel injected GM engines! One thing at a time though...health first (as Ron expressed here) ! :)

God Bless and Keep You my friend...

Woody -- Have faith -- you'll fix this as you have in the past-- gotta take care as Hall of Famers like yourself don't come along everyday .BTW -- its just like you trying to be the Record Holder with ten stents ! ! !

Re: Woodro Josey Heart Problem

Hi Woodro,

We all take our health for granted till it starts to go south. Then, that gets our attention.

We think we're invincible when we're young, "Nothing will ever happen to me." As we get older we realize how fragile life is.

Take care, do what the doc's say and soon you will be back out there doing what you enjoy the most.

Re: Woodro Josey Heart Problem

Woody,

Linda & I are just getting back from our vacation, and I just got to read your post. Are those stints .030 or .060 over standard bore. Also, we were wondering if any "tech" guys had the opportunity to check our your "valve job".

We are planning on moving down to Orange Beach, Alabama for the summer. If you & your Linda would like to be our guests, let me know. It's only the two of us in a 4-bedroom/4-bathroom home. Can't be that far from Boy Scout Road in Byron.

My daughters would like to see someone there with us. They're worried about how much we eat & drink when we are there. Guess now is the time to invest in rehab & weight watchers.

No Problem

Re: Woodro Josey Heart Problem

Jim, everything seems to be going ok, When you have had as many of these things as i have, it takes longer and longer to get over them, and too along the way, more issues set in but i should be good to go in a couple weeks. Thanks to you Jim and to all the well wisher's on this Forum, it means a lot!
