Old Bridge NHRA Supernationals B/SA entries
With two weeks to go there are a whopping fourteen (14 ) entries in B/SA already -- this must be some kind of record as I can't remember ever having that many in a class runoff .Whoever wins the B/SA Wally will earn it for sure as its a who's who in Stocker drivers for sure and at the end of the day will be one tired puppy.........Your pick ? ? ?

Re: Old Bridge NHRA Supernationals B/SA entries
My money's on a guy named "jack", as in "jack the giant killer" who's just been watching for the right time to strike. And besides it's amost a local track and if anybody knows where the "sweet spot" is, jack does.

Re: Old Bridge NHRA Supernationals B/SA entries

Re: Old Bridge NHRA Supernationals B/SA entries
14 cars signed up as B cars.Doesn't mean all will tech in as B cars though.Even if a few go to A to D that's still a lot of cars. The winner could be the guy with the best guarded HP factor.Or the best driver or both.Should be interesting.
|
Re: Old Bridge NHRA Supernationals B/SA entries
Sal Biondo
Brett Speer will not be in B and chances are Billy Pires wont be either... AA will also be interesting. I think Barton has to be the car to beat. |
Re: Old Bridge NHRA Supernationals B/SA entries
Same here, Sal Biondo. I don't think any of the Chevorlets will push it anyway. Too much to lose. Jack there were 17 or 16 entries At Indy last year for B/SA.

The message is loud and clear -- Jim Boudreau in his "Orange Crush" colored big block '69 Camaro will face off for the Wally with Sal Biondo in Bill Hawks' "Black Beauty" '67 Mustang Shelby..............the rest of us seem to be just filler....................

Re: Old Bridge NHRA Supernationals B/SA entries
I was told budreaus steel head motor was better than his alum head motor, alum head has to weigh 90 pds more beacause everybody went crazy running fast, if so armstrong must have found alot of hp.

Re: Old Bridge NHRA Supernationals B/SA entries
Have had several inquirys about when class eliminations are going to be held -- is it going to be Thursday or Friday ? Anyone have a 'official' schedule ? Can't seem to be able to track down this info.........

Re: Old Bridge NHRA Supernationals B/SA entries
not so sure Hawk&Cook are going to be a factor for class as we had to switch to the steel heads.they had been laying on the shelf for 5 years took a good hour to blow them off. the old snake was pretty tired after bristol what with this being the third year on this motor and Boudreau with a fresh piece clicking off a 10.25 at maple grove along with Bardeekoff 's10.31 and Matyas 10.33. but then again red hot Sal will be behind wheel.
|
Re: Old Bridge NHRA Supernationals B/SA entries
