Brett Speer/Dan Lynch race ???
 

Has Drag Race Central got the wrong info, or did the tower give Brett the wrong dial? The index for B/SA is 11.55, so how did Brett dial an 11.80? Maybe it was an 11.30 and he didn't notice the error, or maybe it was a 10.80 and he actually ran a 10.727 which was -.073 and he broke out less.

If they had an 11.80 up there, I'll bet Brett was really surprised that he got to leave first.

Anyone know?

brett is in d/sa and his dial was correct.

Who's car is he driving? They had him listed on the qualifying sheet in B/SA at .60 over. Then I noticed too that for second round they had him listed in D/SA.

Thanks Ron,

That would make sense if they revised the Final Qualifying order that showed him in B/SA. Maybe DRC just didn't post the revised order to show him as a D/SA.

Brett usually run a big block chevy the 375 hp version and is in B/SA

Thanks for the picture. Nice car! I guess it clears up one problem but presents another. They apparently didn't change the ladder, but got the class right in the computer for the next round. So how'd all that come down? I guess it's just a bracket race.

I may be wrong...... but it apprears to me that Brett's qualifying position (#116) would have been the same with the correct index of 11.85 (d/sa). that means he still would have to race dan lynch. the drag race central crew probably had him listed as his old class in their database, but it would not have changed things on the ladder.

Nope, I'm home working. The "A" is a nice touch though. Could stand for A$$HOLE I suppose.

Say, if you see Jim & Jimmy DeFrank again, say Hi from the Ryan's. Jim really looks good. Except for the gray hair, he and Jimmy look like twins.
