Yea he's gonna be there with the stocker and the comp car, by now he's parked and will have his ducks in a row for class ( to qualify) and don't look for too many comp time trial runs. No plans for a perm. CIC until the semi's.
He gets smarter as he goes along !!!????

It IS common at this event for a racer to watch a round or 2 of qualifying and then decide what class they want to be in and then go thru tech. I bet that some of the ones that didn't make runs yesterday are doing just that.

Then takes out Garlits 1st. rd. of Stock Class. Garlits had the "holeshot"!! .007 to .010.. Nice pairing!

Most people don't know this but he still looks at the full tree ( me too ) like the sport was designed to be. Yea, you'll see some blocking going on but that's to blank out the other side so as not to see their red and more importantly, the idiots walking behind the car in the rear view mirror image.

The worst problem we've found for a distraction is in the night finals and the camera flash from the car leaving in front of ya. That's a huge problem. Been there there a few times !
