Hi gang

Its been a hectic three days. Arrived at INDY a few days ago and brought a mysterious stumble between 6500 and 7000 rpm. After trying 20 differents repairs or parts replacements, the work finally paid off and we picked up 3 tenths today (enough to qualify and luckily win class too).

I did have time to take some pics but have not had time to post them.

Going by the paint, it looks like an old/current Lee Sharp car. I believe it's Bo Butner's number, he has raced Lee's cars earlier this year.

The picture of the G5 Pontiac that was in Kevin Walsh's trailer does belong to Kevin. It's former owner was Lee Sharp. Kevin hasn't ran the car yet but brought it to Indy because his firebird Super Stocker's roof blew off at Bowling Green last week and he wasn't sure NHRA would accept the quick patch job but they did. Look at the picture and note it isn't a T-Top car! Go figure.

Not sure what was bad. We were forced to take the shotgun approach. We mader 8 changes before todays class run trying to catch "lightning in a bottle". MSD was just one of them.

56 pictured is the old HARDY BOYS car 56 business coupe (factory no back seat)

ss/aa of shumates is just immaculate... including the killer color coordianted MJ interior
gets my vote for best appearing car !!!
