Maybe its me but it sounds like Brian footbrakes his car. Is it true that some of the faster cars don't use a transbrake like a SS/AH car. They are faster with out one. Just asking if someone would like to share this.

Re: SS/DA Record

I couldn't get tht link to work; I copied and pasted it... Youtube said the URL was "malformed," whatever that means...

Maybe it's cause it has the letters "URL" on the end of it????

Dunno....

Bitchin' car, though... and I'm a MoPar supporter, but you gotta give credit where credit's due; that thing just hauls.... the old-fashioned way!!!

Re: SS/DA Record

Sorry late again for posting, thanks Kenny for the help,

Mannyman

the wt. was 3595, Alum head motor, the wt. was in it to slow it down, i wish i had the steel headed in, maybe could of got closer to the MPH record, and that motor is 4/sale, if ya want it to put in your car.

Todd Boyer

It doesn't take Bags of money with a BBC, just a good engine builder, so ya can run all year on 1 engine, and who cares how much, long as your fast.

Leon

you should know light don't count for records, you have seen this car set enough records and the furnace DOES not work again, Glad i'am in FL for the winter.

J Kuchel

Yes i F/B the car

Bill

sorry that your a die hard Mopar man LOL but i even brought one of them with me, for the help, and his is a good one, also good beer B&^*h LOL Yes Sharon he keeps the cooler full.

Xtechman

Sorry late again, but had to drive back to FL.

David

Thanks for the video, no problem with the beer, but we had to leave Sat. Night after the motor was together, OUT OF BEER, the cake was not a problem, but the icing on the cake was 8.29 @ 160, PS keep your day job, and leave the movie busness alone LOL
have a good winter, no more HP

Rock

if it can be done ,you will do it, your a top end racer you will tighten it up.

Stephen and Horace

Thanks and same to you, that car is a ride it the air i bet

Tom P

Thanks, no Canadian beer only go back for that once a year.

I want to thank John and Allyn Armstrong for the great HP that makes this car haul A##
see ya all in the spring. Brian

Re: SS/DA Record

Of coarse he foot brakes
That why he;s called Quack
Ducks have FEET and too short a wingspan to use TRANS BRAKE..
Nice Job Brain
P.S,
Imagine the bitchin if they could see what you could really run.
Money helps but you gotta work HARD to go THAT FAST!!!

mannymen 11-30-2009 09:53 AM

Re: SS/DA Record

Brian, 3595 wgt OMG!!!

I definitely need a whole new drivetrain just to run in the 9.30's range (I'm not even there yet) at 3520 let alone 9.12 that you ran. Where's the white flag icon when I need it.

I'll trade you my alum head motor for your steel headed motor:)

Damm....overweight too....Nice job.....Brian....and the motorbuilder too...it certainly takes the whole package to run like that.....

We aren't too interested in getting hp....so the planets would have to align for us to get it back.....or maybe you in the other lane...lol...

This is getting good....Cant wait until next year to see you guys in class run offs. 2 really bad hot rods going at it. This is what makes class racing exciting. Good luck to both of you.

enjoy & be safe .....

Re: SS/DA Record

Brian......you are too funny.....You are the one that needs a little weight....That thing really makes some steam......

We have a little more....but I doubt if we use it...lol

It doesn't look like we cross paths very often....so a heads up is probably unlikely....maybe at the Northern Sportsnationals in the fall....I would like to meet you sometime....you going to PRI next week....I will be there Thursday and Friday....

we would be better squaring off in C....at least we can go a little faster.....I might have to go on a diet....lol

Rock
