Time for the PRI in Orlando. Who is coming and what about the annual dinner on Friday night? Where's Pothole? Jim

Be there Friday & Saturday/ Will be staying @ Old Town. Also be hanging around Moser, Hoosier,and Milidon booths. Then probably Howling @ the Moon for entertainment Friday nite and Old Town cruise nite on Saturday.

I was going to be there with Alex D. but I was stuck on Jury Duty then was told I had to work and make up for the lost time. Guess I will have to make sure that someone hangs or gets the chair.

OK, here is interactiive map for the Bahama Breeze that we usually go to. It is very close to the PRI. They have seating for large groups if you reserve ahead of time, or they have call ahead seating that is not really a reservation, it just puts you on the list at the time of the call. I can call and reserve a room for what? 20, 30 or 40 people? You guys let me know how you want to handle it. We should do it soon though. Jim

Scott, I had to send a copy of my business license to get credentials. After that, I had to show my credentials and either a pay stub or business card for employees to get them in. My wife gets in because she helps with the business, and she's a minor partner, she's not really in as a spouse, although that can be done. I don't think you can just show a business card and picture ID anymore. A manufacturer or exhibitor may be able to get some guest credentials, but they cost them $100 or so a piece.

Scott, you do not have to pre-register. I can tell you that when I went to register a couple of guys who worked for me part time, I saw people who were trying to register on site turned away when they could not produce a business license. Normally, they require the business owner to come to on site registration and present his credentials and then his employee presents a business card or a pay stub, then they register the employee and issue him credentials.

I hope you get in, that's why I'm telling you what I know about the process of getting in, to give you the best shot at getting in, we'll see you at the booth. :cool:

Scott, I just found out my vendor did not renew this year, so I will not be going either unless I find a way to get in.We can still do the friday night dinner . give me a call

I just bought a room for 3 nights in the Hilton (right next door) for $55 a night. Via Priceline
Had a cheaper hotel booked but got worried about bed bugs and roaches.

And so it begins, I went to the open house for Bo Laws Performance (BLP) here in Orlando. Bo usually has the affair catered but this year he cooked, smoked and BBQed everything himself! All I can say is WOW! I won't eat again until Friday night! I got to see a preview of the new "Big Bo" 2000 cfm racing carburetor that Bo Laws Performance will have on display at the PRI. What a monster! It is based on the Holley Dominator. See everyone tomorrow! Jim
