Jeggie
So Jeggie is coming to stock. I hope Jeg takes the Stock Experience to heart, like working on your car between rounds, trying to keep up with all the bs that goes along with it. But we know better than that. He will get in the car, make his pass and get out ,round over. plus his personal chef will have him a nice beef wellington sandwich when it over.Just my guess of how it will go for Jeg.

Re: Jeggie
I wonder if he have the crew chief do fuel check for him to ??? LOL

Re: Jeggie
Oh John, your just jelous. Your just going to have to be satisfied with a hot dog and a PBR! Jim

Re: Jeggie
John,
Thats about the stupidest post I seen in a long time. Chip |
Re: Jeggie
John do you walk on your knee's round the summit boys?
|
Re: Jeggie
I was at a bracket race with Jeggie a couple years ago when he was running his wagon. First time I'd met him... seemed just like one of the boys. Did you forget where he came from?
|
Re: Jeggie
If he races in stock ,you will know he's there for sure.
|
Re: Jeggie
I think if you did your homework, you would find Jeggie still does alot of local bracket racing and goes to lots of 3-5 day money races... I agree with Mike and Chip, he's one hell of a racer, forget about the money !!!!! He is driven to Win the Stock Title, time will tell, but don't bet against him.. Watch out FORDS / Chevies... he is a driver !!!
Also, I think it good for our sport, when you bring in big names and sponsors to Stock & S/S.... draws Attention... Merry Xmas + Happy New Year to everyone.................................... |
Re: Jeggie
Newbie's buying fast stockers, Big Daddy, Jeg, et al....makes me wonder how they will handle the 7AM call to lanes, or the 9PM round 1, in the dew and fog....or repeated schedule changes so you have to be at the track from dawn's early light to "last call"?
|
Re: Jeggie
what is jeggie driving?
|
Re: Jeggie
The question wasn't whether he was driven to win stock and run local bracket races. The 1st post stated will Jeg just be a driver and have nothing else to do with the car???
Doesn't matter to me, but I wish I could just be a driver and go shoot the crap between rounds. Not having to work on your stuff relieves a lot of stress and keeps you focused on actually driving the car. Not having to worrying about whether you can keep the car running on the starting line without stalling or creeping through the beams is nice. |

Re: Jeggie
When Jeggie drove our Cuda in the Hemi Challenges he was very hands on with the car, not so much with mechanical stuff because we were doing all that and didn't need another pair of hands in the mix, but he was very on top of the weather conditions, tracking his runs, the computer print outs, tires, gear ratios, etc.. He and Dad had a lot of conversations about the mechanical things on the car. I was pleasantly surprised by how "into it" he was. Darrell Marvel always puts a bbq on for the hemi guys and Jeggie went. One of his comments was how nice everyone was, how it was so unlike the pro stock arena. I think you'll find him to be a very involved Stock racer.

Re: Jeggie
we also ran against Jeggie in super stock.. super nice guy.
Hey Julie will we be seeing more of you and the Westcoast Hemi crew this year?? |

I haven't sat down and done the #'s, but I believe it was suppose to be: 6.1 - AA, A & B 5.7 - D, E & F 5.9 - G, H & I ...at least until they start getting factored. |
Re: Jeggie
Just saw a picture of Jeg's challenger. Very impressive. I know i will be rooting for him in stock and every other Mopar. When it comes to pro stock , gotta root for AJ and his new Mopar!

Haters! Your all Haters! Jeg will win, he is a winner, that's what winners do!

Re: Jeggie
the Dodge is #14, Jeggie ordered the car when he was still with Schumacher.
I was over at the paint shop when John was doing it, he does all of Jegs paint work and a good friend of mine and he does great paint work and doesn't need to be in the lime light or around people to get in pictures or on tv. |

Re: Jeggie
Sounds like time to RE Start TOP/STK. With the factories supporting cars and Name drivers and new cars it would be highlighted appropriately this time....
Even TOP/SS could get interesting when the Thunderbolts and Vettes work on the Mustangs and Chargers....Maybe even a Belvedere will be there too... Maybe even a SPonsor or two will be more interested in making the Prize money Draw racers who used to be worried about being too slow to compete. It needs the WHOLE ball of WAX to make it a hit again... this might be it. |
Re: Jeggie
MAYBE HE SHOULD MORE ATTENTION TO PRO STOCK & THEN MAYBE HE WOULDN't be 307 PTS OUT OF FIRST PLACE

Re: Jeggie
Hey John, You sound jealous. I am still amazed how stupid some of these posts are. Jeggie is building a stocker and you want to bust his balls over what ? There are several drivers that have all kinds of help on their cars. You aren't busting their balls. Why not ?How about working on your car and give the keyboard a rest. Life is too short to be bitter. Not too many of us can make a living at this. We do it out of a love of the sport, the friends we make along the wayand of course the competition. Dad told me shortly before he died not to worry about him if he died. He said "I've had a helluva ride". Merry Christmas everyone, BB

Can your resume compare with his? I haven't met a lot of the "Pro" racers, but Jeggie is as down to earth a guy as I've ever met. Genuinely loves the sport and everything about it. |
Re: Jeggie
Thanks, I dont know maybe the NHRA site was having brain freeze....
Got it, the only thing I can see is the fact I cant see his battery disconnect :) Quote:

Re: Jeggie
A lot of folks thought with Big coming into Stock, it might attract some positive attention to the class. I hope it still does. Jeg is arguably a tremendous racer, and a good guy. Great, the water is fine. Him and Big, and even Larry Morgan, if they go that route, good. They put their pants on one leg at a time, just like we do.
2 go down the track, and one comes back. Its still a race. |
