On January 17th we will be having a fund raiser for the "Shoe Memorial Fund" at the restaurant Paula and I own.The food and soft drinks will be on us.We along with DJ Raiser will be selling "Shoe" stickers and auctioning off items donated by many racers and others associated with racing.We are plannig on a strong turn out from across the country and Canada.It will begin at 12 noon and is at 10325 Main Street Clarence New York.
All are invited ! Please join us in honoring and remembering one of Drag Racings most accomplished and colorful figures who was taken from us and our sport way too soon. Hope to see you there.

I speak from first hand experience. The food at Pauls place is outstanding!!!

I wish I could make it but I will be working that day (no Buffalo layovers this month) :(

just left the wake, the place was packed. unreal turnout. a fine reflection of the love everone has for "the shoe". please participate in the fund raiser if you can at cambria's restaurant(gianni mazia's) on 10325 main st clarence ny 14031. party starts at noon and goes till 5.sunday jan 17th.

Huge response to the fundraiser.Many donations some quite impressive.We will also be selling "Shoe" stickers.Come early there is no real ending time.Looks like we will have a significant Canadian turn out .The big guy deserves all we can deliver.

Hey Paul, your such a class act for this! I know you came in and out of the wake with DJ and Tracey was looking for you and you were already gone! I hope this goes really well! I am sending a few friends and my girlfriend just to make sure a little more for THE SHOE is had!

She lives in Williamsville anyway so, she is coming to party for THE SHOE!

I'm sending out a complete Racer's Mind concentration skills package for the auction. It sells for $288. If you were thinking about buying it for yourself or your favorite racer, please attend the fundraiser and bid high.

The response to "The Shoe" fund raiser next sunday the 17th has been overwhelming.We have donations ranging from National race passes to a week condo use in the Carolinas.This should be a great success for a great purpose in rememberance of a great guy.Looking forward to this beginning at noon on the 17th at 10325 main Clarence NY.Live auction will be conducted by DJ Raiser which should be fun in itself.Food and soft drinks are on Paula and me.Hope to see as many as possible there to rember our friend Jim.

As the auction draws near, could you post the list of auction items so that those who cannot attend could submit blind bids?

The response to our fundraiser this sunday has been overwhelming.Tracey Harrington is attending,racers from Virginia,Michigan,New Jersey,Canada Ohio and Pennsylvania to name a few are coming.Many donations have been received from a week condo stay in the Carolinas to Championship jackets,fuel packages,National Race car and crew passes from IHRA and many other nostalgia items.Of course "Shoe" stickers will be available too.This should result in a great tribute to a great guy and a successful fundraiser.Looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it I am sure the big guy will be smiling down on us all.
