Prayers For Earle Holt-Update
 

Div 1 Racer, Earle Holt went to the hospital, earlier today, experiencing chest pains. Been in touch with him throughout the evening. He is being transfered to Eastern Maine Medical Center to have a heart catheter.

Got a message from Earle. There is no heart damage and no blockage.
Nevertheless, they are keeping him in the hospital for a couple of more days for more tests.

Just got a message from Earle. Great news!!!
Although the doctors confirmed he had a heart attack; the good news is the hospital imaging does not show any damage to the heart or body. They are sending him home tomorrow and has to rest for a week at home before he does chores.

Thank you everyone for your prayers! They work, 100%.

They tell me that there are a couple types of heart attacks, 1) some that you can see coming based on lifestyle, etc. and 2) some where people just drop out of nowhere...mine was the second type and based on the level of enzymes in my blood, I shouldn't be here to be typing this to you right now. The ambulance folks have never seen anyone with those type of numbers, let alone someone who survived it. (Your heart and muscles put out an enzyme into your blood when they are attacked or in distress)

A prayer chain was set up that went all the way across the country and even to friends in the mid-East...and the doctors have confirmed that I have NO heart damage. Unheard of under the circumstances. So, I'll be on meds from now on and hopefully I won't have any problems in the future.

Thanks again everyone. I really appreciate the kind comments and support. My Mustang project may be delayed a bit by this, but I'm determined to enjoy a few days at the track with my kids this year...things in life can change pretty quickly.

Glad to hear your doing OK Earle. Same thing happend to me 2 yrs ago, had no clue it was coming. Gives you a new perspective, God has blessed you, make good use of it, take care, Jerry.

Earle, Eventhough I haven't met you yet, I am happy to hear you are doing better. God works in great ways. As soon as we get another car and get it built I hope to see you at many races to come.
