I woke up this morning, realized that I've been wrong for all of these years and prepaid my NHRA membership through 2025. I will also be going out to the garage this afternoon and preparing to put aluminium head 396s in my Novas and a 427 in my Camaro (just in case).

Thats wierd Billy. But when I think about it I realized that you are correct. If you paid your membership fees through 2025, and they continue to increase fees, you will have saved up enough money to buy the newest underated manufacturers horsepower claimed car in 2025. Genius, just sheer genius.

I awoke this morning to the thought that there will be individuals out there trying to fool other individuals just because it is Thursday, April 1st. Ha, who would fall for that.

I remember in the late 60's NHRA had a offer for life time membership for $ 100.00.
But I didn't have the extra $ 100.00.

I am really glad you are doing this! It is very embarrasing when I have to tell my freinds I got beat by a stock 6 cylinder Chevy with a 1 barrel carb and a powerglide.

I seem to remember a certain Super Stock 427 you freshend that you only guaranteed would run under the V/SA index. Did go a little faster than that...

1. be glad you woke up on top of the grass not under it
2. i did not see any reported bank robberies in your area ?
3. was a nice try to get someone in glendora to have a heart attack with membership
4. can you send me & ortiz some of what youre smoking ?
5. damn A/SA car will redlight when you leave between the last two yellows as usual
6. better get some obamacare insurance, i forsee whiplash on the starting line
7. did you get a bailout plan sponsorship...feds now own % of billy nees race cars ?

Tom, the day I graduated from college there was a guy sitting at a table in the quad selling subscriptions to Playboy and for $100.00 you could buy a lifetime subscription! No good cars in it but lots of pictures of potential crew members.
