Guess it's a golf cart and beer trip to visit all the big boys.............:D

We plan on being there, but we keep getting snagged. Had to have a new set of pistons made from Diamond, it took them 8 weeks, got them the other day and they made them the wrong size. Needless to say we will be thrashing.
Plan on testing on Thursday after we get it re certified. I haven't been in that car for a couple years so I am a duck. Be good to see you Lee.

I'm thinking I'm going out on Weds night , i got to make room on the trailer for the gimpy cart so Roger can get around cause his walker wont fit in his mustang when he is making runs and NHRA calls it illegal weight in the car. lol

Tony Hall.....you won't be the only duck in SST!! I am heading out with the Vega and have not made a throttle stop pass with it yet. So line up beside me and we will duck it out to the end!! Plan on heading out Wednesday night and will be there early Thursday for chassis certification and time trials.

Ladies and Gents....I am going to try to get permission from Mr. Hullinger to let me try and raise a little money for the Racing for Cancer fund. Although our website hasn't been updated recently, we have donated over $10,000 so far to the James Cancer Hospital at the The Ohio State University. Check it out at www.racingforcancer.com. Thanks to all of the racers who have donated and the Jegs family for matching our yearly contributions, we are doing great so far. Jeg e-mailed me a few weeks back and said "let's do it again!!" So we can't stop now........please get the loose dollars and change together, track me down to donate and I will give you a couple of the Jeg's Racing for Cancer Research ribbons to proudly display on your car.

Look for the 73 Vega, SST3755 and except for purple vs black, looks like a old Jeg's paint job (white, yellow and purple with blacked out wheels). I am looking forward to meeting a bunch of you, race a little and raise some money for those who are fighting cancer. Please help if you can......see you there and thanks in advance!!

Jim do a $5 dash for cash deal for S/ST, who ever signs up first time trail run and has the best package of time trails gets half of the money, other half goes to the cancer fund.
Tell people when they sign up if the think they have a good package , bring the time slip over to you in the pits and record it.

What are the typical/normal track conditions at INDY?

Is one lane faster/slower than the other?

Is there usually a tail, head or crosswind and how much by average?

Anything else I should look for?

Hello all, this will be first time running an NHRA event. Just look and listen for the loud duck sounds :eek: when the call is made for SG, there I'll be. Looking forward to it.
