Had a talk with track manager of Thunder Road Raceway [Shreveport,La] and he is THINKING about having a Combo Stock/Superstock Race. He was wondering about how many cars he could get.
I know that we need to know What the entry is and What the payout will be. Let's assume that the entry fee and payout is Good. I need a MAYBE head count on cars.
I will start with my[2] cars and Bill &Sharon Bogues [1]

I would try to make it. However, I'm helping my son coach baseball and it would have to not conflict with a game. It sounds like a great idea. I hope you can pull it off.

Depends on the time of the event. Great location!!
Also: Their new track manager knows how to do a good race.
Robert will have the track working and get it done like he has in the past when he ran Hallsville
I'm looking forward to good things happening there.

Hey Bobby, I would like to do that race but engine is down till about mid May. After that great, I'll be there.

I didn't realize it was the same guy that had Hallsville. Good deal!

No date as of yet but Track Mgr. was trying to see what the interest might be.

Hey Bobby, Talked to Verne he said he would ask his wife if he could go but thought it was a pretty good chance he would be able to attend along with 2 or 3 or more Arkansas racers.

Depending on the date and the payout we can probably bring 5 cars. That would be 3 in Super Stock and 2 in Stock.

Hey guys, do a $100 entry fee, pay out $1200 to win $500 runner up, and $50 a round won after Rd 2, you will need 22 cars at least to make sure payout is covered.
but it makes a good payout.
