PB Candies made a few 8 second runs in SS/BA at Belle Rose last month. Rock Haas ran 8.979 @ 151.43 last month at Belle Rose in SS/DA, also.

Before anyone goes into cardiac arrest,
ALL of the sub 8 second runs that have been made by CJ's have been Super Stock cars.
The 2010 Super Cobra Jet is rated at 500 and comes with 10-1/2" tires.
Rock's car is a 2008 CJ replica with 14"x32" tires, a Roush motor and is rated at 425.

And for you Ford haters. He left two plug wires off and he had 40 pounds of air in the rear tires. It rained before he could make a second pass.
