Thank's for the info Sharx.

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

The race is Saturday, and Sunday is the rain date. But the weather looks great at this point! (that's a first for the 2010 season!) Hope you can make it. If grandpa Merkle gets my Ford back together I hope to race. I may even see if Bryan wants to drive it. I had a lifter break an axle the last race, and didn't realize it. I thought I was just lost with the stop. No wonder my prediction was a mile off!

Hope to see a good turnout.

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

What time does the gate open for T&T Friday?

What time do they open Sat for the 10.90 race?

Thanks again for the info.

Sharx 05-25-2010 02:43 PM

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

Gates open Friday at 4:00 and TT starts at 5:00. I'm not positive of when the S/St time trials will be on Saturday but the Junior program runs till about 1:00 so I would guess first pro tree time trails at 2:30-3:00'ish but that is a guess. I'll try and verify and let you know.

Here is a link to generic time schedule.

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

The schedule shows the Super Street race on Sunday, gates open at 11:00 with time trials starting @ 12:00. There was nothing listed for Super Street on Saturday. Can someone please confirm.

Thanks

Kevin

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

The schedule is wrong the Super Street Race is Saturday. Per Mike Fouts on the Forum.

http://www.pacemakersdragway.com/for...pic.php?t=3201

The webmaster is MIA this week and it hasn't been fixed. Sunday is the second ET points race. Perhaps if enough S/st's stick around on Sunday we can convince Mike to have one Sunday also. (That is just my opinion. Not the tracks. But let Mike know Saturday if you would be interested in a S/St race on Sunday)

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

The Super Street deal was a lot of fun I thought. Nice job Joe Jackson for helping out with things. I like the pairing of cars from the start. You have who you have.

I'm looking forward to the next one already.

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

And I personally want to thank the Jackson family (Jackson Racing Engines) for becoming the series title sponsor.

Pacemakers will have additional Jackson Racing Engines Super Street nights.
July 17th, Sept 11th, and October 9th. I think another date is coming, and I'm sure it will be announced soon.

Thanks again!

We had alot of fun, and I think we will come back and try it again next time.

Thanks again to Joe and all the sponsors.

So who won?

Bill Hoskinson 05-30-2010 08:28 PM

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

Doug Bates and I were in the final. Doug was the last one to stage on a quick tree, and I hadn't set the button when the tree came down.

Oh well...

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

Speaking of the "Jackson Racing Engines", just how many cars were running his motors? I probably saw at least 8.

Strong running entries I must say.

The next time I come out, I will be.

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

Joe, are you going to be keeping track of the points for the SST series at Mt. Vernon? If so, will you be posting the points on your website?

Nitro Joe Jackson 06-02-2010 10:19 PM

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

yes Bill, i have the paperwork here, i just have not got to it as of yet as i had 10 events to do stats for this past weekend and I'm a little swamped but if your at Pacemakers Sat i should have it done and will give you a copy of the points.

Bill Hoskinson 06-09-2010 10:11 PM

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

Joe, just a reminder about the points postings.

Pacemakers is the worst for keeping points posted and keeping the webiste updated. That's why I was hoping you would be able to post them and keep track.

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

Joe, that seems a bit extreme? Last week you posted that the bottle has to be removed and the lines capped; Now I have to disassemble my fuel system and replumb fuel lines?

Nitro Joe Jackson 06-13-2010 12:42 AM

Re: 10.90 at Mt.Vernon

nope, just remove bottle, that's all.
I'm ok with that
