Re: NHRA website?

I have nhra. com as my home page, and it won't
come up. Must be something corrupted. I'm type
it in manually.

Thanks guys, Ed

Re: NHRA website?

Try clicking on small NHRA logo at top of this page, Ed.....That's how I regularly get on there, almost daily. Best wishes. WJ

We haven't been able to get on it in days either. I tried from this site, too. Anybody have any suggestions?

Re: NHRA website?

Tried it twice, just now. www.nhra.com , the link on the little logo at the top of the page, works just fine. So does typing it manually, from my history, or from my saved favorites. I'm using the latest version of Firefox.

Re: NHRA website?

Thats weird, I just went from here and it went right to it and also from my bookmark. Something is blocking you or routing you wrong??

Re: NHRA website?

If you have recently updated your browser, Firefox or IE, you may want to try and clear your cookies. In Firefox go to tools, options, privacy, click on clear history and then check the cookies box and click clear now.

If you using IE, go to tools, internet option, under browser history click on delete and check cookies and then click on delete.

Cookies are files stored on your computer to help make websites you visit allot load quicker. They also store login information, so you may have to type this info in again.

Worked ok for me too.

Re: NHRA website?

Guys, I was complaining on the thread about the autiocast. I could'nt get the site up either. I went into the computer and deleted my cookies (what ever that is) and it works fine now. Thanks for the direction/idea Blue Oval Ralph, And I did it all by myself!!!

Be careful but here goes: I clicked on "Tools" then "internet options" and got a list, scrolled down to cookies, clicked on it an followed directions....I think thats how it went down anyway.

Delete any cookies that has NHRA in it or call there and ask for there IT department there is a guy listed in rule book ask fo Jared Robison and leave message they will call you back Blue Oval Ralph

Nothing works for me, bookmarks or the logo above.

Wade Mahaffey 06-18-2010 08:47 AM

Re: NHRA website?

Deleted the "cookies" and it worked on Wed. Now that I want to hear the Bristol autiocast, no NHRA.COM again! Go figure. Maybe it's just a sign of the times, a sign of the future.

Re: NHRA website?

I just pulled up NHRA and logged on to live timing without my number, just my email address, and it's working fine

Larry Hill 06-18-2010 09:05 AM

Re: NHRA website?

Well, I finally got NHRA to come up (after Chris came in and worked on my computer). But now the audiocast isn't working and live timing gives the names, but no times!

Superfan1 06-18-2010 09:24 AM

Re: NHRA website?

The NHRA website has been working just fine for me, and I just logged on with my membership number and the audiocast is working fine also.

Re: NHRA website?

Twice I logged on to listen to the audiocast and didn't log-off when I left the site.
Both times it was two full weeks before I could get back on nhra.com.
Their guru gave me several different directions but nothing helped!

Re: NHRA website?

Live timing works for me but audiocast doesn't...anyone else having this problem?

Ed Wright 06-18-2010 10:17 AM

Re: NHRA website?

Deleted my cookies, tried the link at the top of the page, still get the message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

The Lucus page comes up.

Heck of a deal...

Re: NHRA website?

Ed, switch to Firefox, it's free, and you'll like it. I haven't used IE but a few times since I got Firefox 3-4 years ago. You can even import all of your bookmarks and such right from IE to Firefox.

Tracy Robbins 06-18-2010 10:59 AM

Re: NHRA website?

restarted computer and fixed it.

I was using Firefox and still had problems - cleared the cookies cache and everything now works! I'll keep my fingers crossed for the rest of the weekend.

Must be my turn in the tank - got to NHRA.com OK but no audiocast - tried AOL and FireFox -- nothing - cleared cookies - nothing - now it won't direct to NHRA ........guess I should be working anyway .................

I've tried everything, even firefox. Got nothin.

Re: NHRA website?

My work computer is Vista and Chris helped me clearing everything out. Go to Tools--Internet Options--general tab--under it-browsing history-delete-it opens up to where cookies are-check cookies, but uncheck the top where it says preserve favorites. This worked for mine.

Good Luck!

I did all that, and finally did a restore back to a date when I could get it. Still nothing. I can get the Lucus page from the link at the top here, but no nhra.com. My wife's machine in a different office, same DSL line, gets it fine. My laptop won't either. This machine here at home (Cox cable) gets it fine.

I have no idea. I had it last Friday, but not not since Monday or Tuesday.

Re: NHRA website?

I started a thread on the 90 page, should have just contributed here... Gotta be something wrong with the NHRA site... I've had the EDS folks at work that do this stuff for a living spend an hour trying to figure out what's wrong, and they were baffled. Logging on is hit and miss at best. Suppose it's time to break down and wake up someone in California about the problem...

Re: NHRA website?

A couple of months ago I tried everything their webmaster told me to and couldn't get on.
For the second time, two weeks after I'd been logged on to the audiocast, magically I got back onto nhra.com.

Ok, I have deleted browser history and cookies and was able to get to the web site but now the audiocast sound does not work. What now?

Re: NHRA website?

The only way I can reliably get to the NHRA site and listen to the Audiocast is with IE7 - Firefox redirects me and never connects!
