Hopefully, someone who's running, or even just attending the event up north of the border this wknd reads this and will keep us posted as to what's going on at this Div. 1 nice-paying $$ race....Thanks in advance. WJ

The PRO'S doing such great LIVE FROM reports....such as Jack M, Ken M, and others, will not be there it appears but I'm confident there will be feedback/updates by others...

It may not be cost effective to go live from north of the border. My guess is your cell/aircard/internet connection becomes very expensive as soon as you go into another country. I for one, shut off my cell when I head up there.

I snowmobile within feet of the canadian border and i make sure that I am on a USA tower before i call out.

I plan on going up Saturday afternoon, to much stuff to do to make it earlier.

WJ yes im competing,

The weather was great at 2pm we were around 25 cars, at 7pm around 50, has i was leaving Morehead showed up

The track is fast, hope to have a great weekend,

Nice to see a lot of cars in Napierville,

I will keep you informed of qualifying tomorrow night

Im trying to put up some pictures but it aint working.....maybe tomorrow

Given there is a chance to get in Sunday more cars might show up tonight and Sunday morning....
Very rewarding for those who contributed to make this happen
such as Guy Desjardins, Sean Gafney and Mike McCollum...
Thanks also go to Ronald, Bob Lang and his NHRA team.
Great to see so many participants from all over.
Will it be a 20K race next year with 10K in S & 10K in SS?

We are now 52, Dave Casey came in at 6pm

we were 30 cars in a shootout 500$ went to Todd Bednaz!!!!

Race start a noon tomorrow, wheater looks good, finally the clouds went away, nice full moon a stars!!

Congrats to John Armstrong on a hard earned win over the hottest sportsman racer in the country (Joe Santangelo)!

Those who did not make it, you missed a great time! Our personal host, (babysitter was more like it), Kevin Gaffney showed us memorable sights around Canada (thanks Kevin!)

We were able to make loads of runs and the Div. 1 NHRA team and track owner Ronald and staff truly did an outsatnding job at making everyone comfortable and welcomed.

A GIGANTIC thanks goes out to the sponsors who ponied up for a terrific pay out:

It was a classic USA vs. Canada final

Big congrats to John Armstrong from all your friends and fans in Nova Scotia and the rest of the Maritime provinces. This is a man who has set national records in just about every car he has ever owned. Any one here in the maritime provinces that is serious about horsepower uses A and J Automotive. Nice to see John get his just rewards. Also $10,000 certainly helps the pocketbook!!! Way to go John!!! I bet Quebec has never seen such a celebration party.

"WHAT A BARNBURNER !!!" there was definetly a "BUZZ" about the place...cant thank everyone involved enough. the lights were steller with on the dial runs. morehead/santangleo...lebruns(great showing)/armstrong... then the final....it was STELLER. the lineup for congrats to john was quite deep, he had a mile wide smile. that corvette is a ROCKET...(1.17 60')...MORE CASH for next year !!!!

If you have never seen his car run, do yourself a favor and check it out. His camaro was and still is the same way. I can only describe those 2 cars as "poetry" in motion. Man do they work, and then, after you are awe, you look at the scoreboard and see how fast they are. nuff said , wish I could've seen John's smile.
