Larry Hill TV STAR

How about Larry on the sportsman show.

Could you explain more?

Re: Larry Hill TV STAR

Talk about TV time! What did the pink Cuda get 30-40 seconds(?), with Frey talking about the wheelstand, cruise, western swing while the camera was rolling.

Nice......

I video taped it off the television, so here you go, Larry & Patsy. Not very good quality, but you get the jist. Way cool! Someone must be reading your thread, Patsy. They know way too much. LOL

Beth,
Thanks for putting the you-tube on here. That was really cool.

Tom, we would like a copy of it if Chris isn't able to get it on DVR.

Herb, yeah, we do still run that Dana, and your Dad helped me fix my oiling problem.

Well we are on to Denver thanks to Jim Durham!

We will be posting more along the way!

I second the thoughts of bigshow...what an awesome cruise you two are on! :)

Hopefully you get to Denver soon enough that you'll be able to avoid the "North 40" @ Bandimere. It's the large section of the race track that's completely north of the whole race track (shut-down area Included), thus isolated from any of the racing action by 1/2 mile +. The small car counts (if they stay as they are today), should help in that regard. Be sure to take in that Mopar picnic in Golden, Co. (I think it'll be held Thurs. afternoon to evening...great food, lots of cool Mopars, and one of the best old-west town settings the west ever produced (meaning get your camera ready)!!!

Because of how Mopar presents the Mile High Nationals, it makes me wish (at times), that I chose to campaign the Plymouth Acclaim (that I nearly won an import/sport compact race @ Bandimere Speedway with, in July 2000), in Stock Eliminator Instead of my Cavalier, since Mopar has been more helpful for fwd racers than any other car maker, thru the years.

Paula, you and Mike are great people too, which makes me look forward to someday meeting Larry and Patsy as well. Good luck to you two in tomorrows runoffs of the Az. nats., and latter this week at both the Stock & Super Stock elims from the ill-fated Div. 7 Firebird Intl. Raceway race, plus the Sonoma race next wknd.!

Anyone see todays' telecast from Denver?? I've seen 2 new commercials by Mopar and it sure looks like they're using some footage of Larry's pink Cuda. One shows a quarterpanel shot (AAR) on a launch and the other shows a burnout, both very briefly, as there are many shots of other Mopars being used.
Check them out,,,don't blow by the commercials.

Sorry Chris,,,I didn't really pay attention, as I was sitting here on the computer reading some thread about somebody's trip out west or something like that,,,and just happened to catch the TV across the room at the right moment.LOL!
I'm sure someone with a DVR can go back and find it.

I think some kind of royalties are in order. At least a few bottles of their favorite wine.

The one they showed today was an add for MoPar. It wasn't the same one as last weeks. That pink car sure is a camera magnet though! Jim

I seen the commercial the first time on the qualifying telecast. It is definitely the Hill's Cuda. I paused it to make sure. I don't remember what other cars are in the commercial. I think mainly fuel cars.

Re: Larry Hill TV STAR

I saw the commercial on last nights denver show some of the other cars are Will Kelly's purple Cuda and Jim Storms orange Challenger his son Vinny was driving at the Seattle race. there was another car besides Larry's I did not reconize was a quick shot.
