Try a 1979 Dodge pu with manual brakes, it list it as an aluminum cyl. I will get the Napa # when I go out to the shop.

Somewhere I read that a master cylinder from a front wheel drive application isn't a good choice!?

I have a 10-1821 NAPA/Cardone on my car. Application is a Volare/Aspen with manual disc brakes. I used a resevoir from the van/truck version just for the extra capacity. You just have to break off a tab or two on the underside to allow it to fit a "car" master cylinder.

Also have a 10-1860 with a bigger bore from a truck application. I forgot what the application is specifically, probably manual disc also.

What year Aspen / Volare Myron, like '79/'80-ish? I also read somewhere about not using the FWD cylinder in a RWD application.

I checked 1978 and NAPA shows the 101821 for manual disc brakes and 101822 for power disc brakes.

Sounds like Jeff has a pretty good deal!

I'll send you down a case of Moosehead Jeff, I'm less than a mile from their brewery...Canada's oldest independent brewery.

Good deal! Just keep in mind the Mopar replacement MC doesn't have any rod retention and the rod fits very shallow into the piston. I removed my brake quadrant and welded in a rod guide, made from a steel plate with a hole in it. It prevents any possibility of the rod falling out of the back of the MC. Also have a positive pedal stop at the top of travel. If your foot hooked the pedal and pulled it up or the piston didn't return as fast as the pedal you don't want the rod falling out.
local racer had it happen and went off the end of the track recently.

That works and is bolt in instead of fabricating.
