Have a go here,

Will it be E/S just like the 69 car was?? 11.65 index? Should run 1.20 under the first time out......................Ford certainly has a very nice line up of new cars. |
Re: 2012 Boss 302 Mustang
Check out the Laguna Seca Boss 302 option!
http://www.stangtv.com/features/car-...s-302-mustang/ Rear seat replaced with cross-bracing, brake cooling ducts, Boss 302R (road race version) aero aides, gauge pod ala '65 Shelby. Man this stuff is just way to cool! So I missed buying new in the "real" muscle car area, now I'm going to miss out on this if I can't get sales way up! OK, I wont get political... |
Re: 2012 Boss 302 Mustang
that car does not belong on a drag track ,keep it on the road courses where it belongs!

Re: 2012 Boss 302 Mustang
To be honest it looks just like the 2010 mustang. Diferent decals, and a different trim package but otherwise the same.

Mopar was never very dedicated to trans am, keeping the focus on Drag Racing and NASCAR. The question that should be asked is where is Chevy? Other than making ugly cars with truck grills........where's the beef? JimR |

Re: 2012 Boss 302 Mustang
I've yet to see a MSRP. Based on GT & Shelby pricing, I would guess $40-$45K?
I like the Boss over a Shelby. Something about high RPM small blocks that I find more intriguing than a forced induction engine. Guess that's because my 340 Challenger used to whoop up on all those BBC Chevelles. Their claiming 7500 RPM RPM limit on this Boss and 440 HP. With CNC heads, larger cams and a better intake than a GT 5.0, I have to think the 440 HP number is conservative. The GT is rated at 412 HP and some reports are showing 390 HP range on the chassis dyno! |
