Johnny Fisher at Darlington

It looks like no one else is going to congratulate you on the excellent job you did this weekend, so let me say "GREAT JOB". A win on Saturday including a close heads-up in the final and down to 3 cars and lose with an .01 light on Sunday. (I don't know about your crew chief for the weekend though!)

Re: Johnny Fisher at Darlington

Congrats how about that .01light in the final with a heads up run.

It was an awesome race in the final between Johnny and AJ Currie! I told both drivers (in person) Congratulations, but I will also broadcast it on the computer site. Staging Steve set the mood with music and excitement of the first man to the finish line wins, and both drivers did excellent and did not disappoint!

Ronnie, the crew chief did fine, he borrowed our oil pan and was walking fast with the bag of ice.

If Danny was there Vaughn couldnt be far away. Now only the old timers will understand this joke.

Ask Danny about the time he got RU at Piedmont on a Friday night then went to Jr's Lounge (not my place) in Haw River NC. 5 people were almost killed in the parking lot when he left out at 90 mph, he left 2 women standing on the sidewalk.

Re: Johnny Fisher at Darlington

Stacie, I know the crew chief did fine.... I was just poking at my big brother! Jr., You forgot to mention that Vaughn was involved in the Haw River incident and from what I heard about the attractiveness of the ladies, Dirty Danny made the right decision for a quick getaway.......Mitch would have stayed though!

Ronnie,
He claimed you as his brother to us on Sunday! We enjoyed talking "old times" with him.

Re: Johnny Fisher at Darlington

Ronnie we will agree to stop talking in open forum about Danny and his past, afterall he is like 6 foot something and way the heck bigger than me thats for sure. But the last time i saw him he had grey hair and glasses so I could probably out run him on foot.

Hey Mitch I heard a few stories about you in the Vaughn Currie Era, dont make me start talking.

I hear Johnny can get a little hyper at times. Danny?...he is 100% un-excitable. He is the most laid back character I've ever met. They average each other out, I think.

Johnny hadn't run since Indy last year, I believe. Makes the win and the 5th round on Sunday that much more amazing.

A little hyper, and the mustangs and DP cars are a little overfactored. Ok Johnny dont call me up mad tomorrow. As for Danny he is Danny, but I can tell you 30 years ago there wasnt a better racer around. Between him and his brother they won in everything from a 6 pack roadrunner to a 6 cyl dart. Ronnie won a track championship in a 6 Cyl 70 Dart at Piedmont Dragway,, that was back when he could drive. :D

I remember Vaughn and his orange Hemi Challenger. If you see him tell him I said hello although he probably dosent remember me and the Rockingham win I predicted.

Danny has shared some of those VC stories with me. You can't make that stuff up! I think Danny said Vaughn was living in Texas?...
