Bales has a good thing going. Maybe we should be kicking in gas money to have him hit every NHRA sanctioned event out there each week and let him keep at it. :)

Re: Bales goes 1.28 under

You have to pay to play when quicker than 1.25.
That is the way I read the rules of the game.
Yep, that should help out the older D/SA combos.
Just how much that HP/weight penalty will slow'em down?

Yes we should just rename it the

HP Missile

It will be @ 348 come monday just in time for me to get my fine ride home and play at class @ Maple Grove. A, B, or C don't think I have any A or B's though!

Eric

Are you forgetting Chris Holbrook went 10.07 @ 132 in E/SA....IN SUPERSTOCK? Hmmm. I can smell a F/X class.....can you? Anywho....these cars are awesome and I wish they were on the street! Don't you? That's almost 2.00 seconds under the old index....and my challenge is for someone to show me a pic of them lifting the front wheels off the ground as high as say a J/SA...

2950 lbs with driver could be real fast in A/SA. Thats 460 lbs lighter than the 396/ 405hp. It should be a "Close" race both engines make about 615 to 625 Hp.

https://www.autoimagery.com/store/cg...12&sortfiles=2

When is anyone gonna launch these car hard or, do they have factory four links so they won't ever really wheel stand?

Here is a P/S car that gets the wheels up higher than the new F/X cars....

Speakin of HIGH......Do you really wear a respirator when doing auto body? Some of your "wacked" out views leads me to believe that you're a "huffer" with your chemicals!

You are hilarious. If showing how much slower cars pull the wheels up much higher than these new FX cars is a whacked out view then, so be it...Nice rebuttal though, thanks for the laugh.

I heard that the car was pretty fast, but with the lights he was cutting i would have thought Ray Charles would have been able to cut a good enough light to run him down....

I thought you were just supposed to leave when you saw the other car leave??? That thing with all the lights on it is used for more than just staging?? :D I was not going to red light again in class like I did at Indy!!!!! ;)

When racing heads up, if you are first at the finish line, it doesn't matter when you leave. Wally didn't even know!:D

Ive thought about this....maybe its not the driver but how slow the car reacts....Im blaming this on the builder.....

Or you can look at it this way B 1 The car is lite and makes to much hp to hook on 9" tires, when it is factored correctly the weight will go in the trunk and the car will hook. they still need 100#

Are people upset about the horsepower to weight ratio they have been given?

people are upset over the hp factors, which are completely bogus, and with the infiltration of parts into stock eliminator which have previously been illegal, but now by the stroke of a pen are legal on the factory cars, and only the factory cars.
