I was first made aware of drag racing in 1964 at age 11, reading about Big Daddy. I'm sure I've forgotten a few since then,,but these guys stand out, off the top,although I would've liked meeting Angelle,,,the bikes never came to the NW,, Fortunately, I've met these gentlemen over the years, some only briefly.

I have had the pleasure as an announcer to send all of these racers down race tracks since the early sixties except Don Garlits, I got to give him an achievement award on the starting line at Palm Beach Int. Raceway in 2008. All great racers and great people. I could list many more but there's my top ten.
