Need help with photos of Jim Danels' Dart
 

I am starting to take on the build of a fully detailed and accurate scale model of Jim Daniels' SS/AH Dart. Problem is that I have never had the chance to see this car in person. Now when I say full detail and accurate. I mean I want to do this car dead on from the underside to the roof adn bumper to bumper. That means I need CRAZY photos of this car. If you have any that you might think will help me. Would you please post?

I have some shots of Jims Hemi under power, but don't really have any crazy shots. I will post them for you.

There was a very good article on the car several years back before Jim Daniels became the owner. It gave the history behind the car with the Barton's. It had several close up pictures of the engine compartment, trunk and dash. I think the magazine was Mopar Action. I will check and see if I still have it.

Thanks guys. I need some detail shots like the rear end and any other chassis shots. Any kind of engine shots. An need to see the interior too. But I will take just about any photo anyone has of the car. Even when the Bartons owned it. I think the only big difference I can see is that the bumpers were red when it was driven by David and when Jim got it. the bumpers went Chrome.
Also, does anyone know if that car is painted Viper Red? That is what I was planning on using.

Dave. Beautiful Shots. And thank you. I have been wanting to buy a few prints from you guys. I would like to pick out one of these shots of the Dart and get one from you. I will want one do display with the model at shows.

I did have decals. They were custom made by a business in Mi. I can give you the name when we communicate.

The Dart appears in Mopar Action magazine issue December 2001, page 18, and in Mopar Action magazine February 2011 - the main article is on the Barton Hemis, but there are pix of the Dart on page 95.

I've got some pics of the car when the Bartons owned it, taken in 2003 while testing at Maple Grove. Not great pics, but might help with some details. Two interior shots are slightly different, one shows where the bar comes through the dash.

Thanks for those photos. Very helpful. Check this out. This was take this year. Jim or the Bartons must of had the trunk painted when he got the chassis updated.
